I had less a problem with that, due to it not being connected to any larger crossover bullshit. And he wasn't some stupid and irritating Joker-ized version of Slade. He was just an alternate universe Slade. I love the Multiverse. I've always loved the Multiverse.

What I had more of a problem with was Christopher Priest having to walk back changes and additions to the characters so that whatever writer comes next or uses the characters in other books can have the clean slate of the old status quo. Whereas, I think if Priest was continuing on the series, he would have continued to build upon the growth he wrote. It's a sad reality of American super-hero comics.

haha that's crazy. He should have known that would never fly. Anyway, Deathstroke has enough kids already.

But the theory also connects to various other comics that come out on the same day.

I'm also getting Batman #85 and Flash Forward #4 as well, which I believe are also a part of the theory as well.

Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child

Wow, what? I read this and I can't for the life of me figure out what the point of it was. But I have a strong suspicion it will eventually be revealed that Tom Scioli ghost wrote this.

    Love that Perez cover.

I also REALLY like that Wonder Woman through the ages cover. I had a hard time pinpointing that one Wonder Woman in the lower right, though. Is that earth 2 Wonder Woman?

Geoff Johns Offers Updates on Three Jokers, Batman: Earth One, Vol. 3

"Gary and I are already finishing up Batman: Earth One, Vol. 3, which we had started before Doomsday Clock," Johns said. "We're about three quarters or more done with that so we're finishing that up; probably finish that up top of the year, I don't know when DC will put it out. And then, with Three Jokers, Jason Fabok and I are on the last issue of that."

"But Three Jokers, Jay and I have been working on it and we're on the last issue now," Johns added. "It's three, double-sized prestige format issues. That'll probably be solicited anytime because we're near the finish line and we waited because we told DC we didn't want it to come out until we knew it would come out on time."

    So...here’s a summary of Doomsday Clock #12:

    • So, did Superman punch Dr Manhattan? No, instead, he defends him from being attacked, notices the picture he caries, and says this to him:
    42141FED-60CC-465B-944F-046F733FA822.jpeg

    • This is enough for Dr Manhattan to rewrite history once more. Now, Alan Scott has his ring back, Superman saves his Earth parents from the car crash, and the legion know recognises Superman.
    • And so, the Justice Society and Legion of Super-Heroes all come to help Superman
    • Dr Manhattan looks at the different timelines.
    • Adrian gets shot by the Comedian, who is also sent back to time when he was meant to die (thanks to Lex Luthor), but is save by the new Rorschach, who embraces his title after a chat with Batman.
    • The actor in #10 has a different timeline.
    • Dr Manhattan raises the boy that was a part of the crazy new couple we saw in #1.
    • As he fades away, it is revealed what the boy’s name is:
    • 002F4749-0DA4-49BF-BBFE-AA63B2C40331.png

Overall, a very satisfying ending for this incredible run.

Edit: Having just read Batman #85...I don’t see any connection between these two comics. But:
At least Bane didn’t died, and he managed to break Flashpoint Batman’s back. Also, Batman and Catwoman are officially an item again.
