Has it been established exactly which of these the movie's about?

 

Barbara's the most famous one I guess.

That said, Cassandra Cain has made her debut and I wouldn't mind seeing a film on her without Harley Quinn.

 

Yea, I'm guessing Barbara too. But, they've already introduced Cassandra Cain. So, now I have no idea. Being as far as I know they've made no mention of Barbara yet.

 

They would only ruin them.

Batgirl: Talent Lines Up To Test In The Pursuit to Play Barbra Gordon – Deadline

WB execs are expecting to test a group of actresses starting this week for the highly coveted title role of Batgirl.

Although test deals still are being locked up and some already have passed, the talent expected to test for the role includes Isabella Merced, Zoey Deutch and Leslie Grace. Haley Lu Richardson’s name is also mentioned, but she might have bowed out before the test process.

 

I don't know who any of the actresses are except for Isabella Merced, who I happen to like very much. I'd be down with her being Batgirl, sure DC, go for it.

I don't know who Leslie Grace is, but her wiki lists her only being in one thing before Batgirl. She's apparently mainly a singer, which is a movie I haven't seen. Personally, I would have preferred Isabella Merced over Leslie Grace, at least I have seen her act, and I like her in everything she's been in.

 

So the word diverse is to turn characters black? Not really what it means but ok then.

What did you expect Jim's daughter to look like?

 

It may have changed now but this movie was supposed to be in a different continuity from the Batman movie. Also after Years of comics, 4 or 5 cartoon series, a live action series etc Most people expect Barbra Gordon to look a certain way. If they wanted a more diverse Batgirl I’d have loved to see one based on Cassandra Cain. But they already screwed her up in the Birds of Prey movie.
