Yeah. And it'll probably have little or no depth.

Apart from the graphical upgrade and it seems like theyve added more to the story mode (if thats what is being shown) i cant really see what else they can add to the game to make it much different to the Tenkaichi or budokai series.

It looks closer to BT2's Story Mode. Still looks like fun.

I just wish we'd get a game that tells the "whole story" in story mode.

Start with Goku as a kid. Go through all the different fights. Early Dragon Ball stuff, first tournament, with fights against that Pteradactyl dude, Nam, Roshi. Then the Red Ribbon Army, and so on. Then move to DBZ, then GT.

BT3 almost got it right, but they did it out of order, and skipped so many great battles.

Love how they've replicated scenes from the show for the cutscenes, down to the camera angles and poses.

Looks like they're going back to the Budokai system with some tweaks here and there.

Yeah the cut scenes do look good thats for sure, im just wondering how much freedom there will be in the stages, from the vids it looks more like the budokai series than the Tenkaichi, but i guess with the game being done by Dimps this time thats only natural.

Are they ever going to make some original content for these DBZ games? Graphically they always look nice, but jesus christ! You can only rehash the same damn storyplots so many times. A create-a-character mode would be nice at least.

Here's what I believe they should do. Have a story mode with multiple scenarios, human, namekian, and saiyan. For each one, you get to make an original character. After completing all three, you unlock the final scenario. Where you get to use all three together. Something like that might actually make the games interesting. I don't really expect it to happen, though. The DBZ fanboys throw a hissy fit whenever they do something without Toriyama. Despite the fact that those same fans are what drove him away from the series in the first place.

I kind of wish they'd get Toriyama on board, and do Dragonball Z the way HE wanted it done! Having Goku die out in the Frieza saga, Gohan striving to be a better fighter on his own and only having his father's spirit there at the very end, and having Gohan be the hero he should have been in the Buu saga without Goku stealing the glory.

BT3 at least incorporated a bunch of "What if?" Storyline/battles, which were pretty cool. I loved Kid Goku vs Ararele (bitch!)

Yeah BT3`s what if storys were a nice little addition to the game. Kid Goku vs Arale, my god that was a nightmare to finish, took forever to beat her.

The one thing that is cool about DBZ games is that they let you use your favorite characters that got completely left behind in the series.

Piccolo was my favorite, but by the end of DBZ he was just another cheerleader for Goku who stood on the sidelines and wished he had "more power".

YES! someone who agrees that Gohan should have stayed the focus and become the main dude! Though i dunno about dying in the fight against Frieza, i like his death against Cell better and the whole android saga was good, i mean everyone was counting on Goku to be the one to stop Cell, yet deep down he knew who would really stop him, and the whole part about Gohan not killing Cell fast enough making Goku have to sacrifice himself was still good, that should have been the turning point where Gohan's life would have changed forever, making him become what Goku was.

It was foreshadowed that Gohan had even more power than Goku and he was just a boy.

Then they brought Goku back to life and everyone took a back seat and Gohan grew up to be a nerd.
But I think the worst thing was that future Trunks from the Android Saga was a total badass, but then in DB GT Trunks grew up to be some neckerchief wearing dork.

Well, same thing with Transformers...writers bring in a new lead, nobody wants him, they bring the old one back despite the new one actually being better...

Hell. I wouldnt mind if they only wanted to do the demon piccolo arc and go from there. but its always with the radditz fight. I hate that. dragonball was so much better then DBZ.

Very true, Trunks did get kinda downgraded in GT, but most of the saiyans were just kinda there to give Goku more power or get taken over, except for Vegeta and that was only at the end of the series where he became more of a prominent character.
