    I'd doubt it.

Most critics have a fairly mean spirited demeanor. If this is actually in the film, I'd bet most would say it was the only good part. And for the wrong reason.

I think it's because he would kill Sentinel's ass once he realized Sentinel betrayed everyone, and Sentinel knows this so he takes him out 1st. As evidenced by the previous movies, Ironhide is the type to kill 1st, ask a while later

I never looked at it that way. Sentinel would probably win in the end, but a fair fight one on one with Ironhide would leave Sentinel's ass mangled and barely alive I bet.

That's how it came off to me. Think, Gordon Ramsey, Simon Cowell, Steve Jobs, etc, etc.

Honestly don't care all that much about most of the deaths, except the one. The big guy. You know who I'm talking about. He's one of my all-time faves, and his movie incarnation has been GREAT. Could've left him alone, but I get the point, I suppose. You can't really get by on only ever killing side characters. But still, they had the whole Prime thing in ROTF......

Oh well. RIP, my man, RIP.

^This. It looks incresingly like it. Also, there was zilch mention of Silverbolt in all the prequel Dotm movie comi adaptations, so it's pretty much obvious as to it being part of the 'disinformation' thingy Bay anc co. love to dissemmenate.

I sadly admit that that's probably exactly what would happen.

The thing is though, how much of this stuff will be seen on film?

You have to keep in mind that often the books are written from early screenplays, so there may be a few minor differences scattered throughout the movie compared to the book. Including some of the dialogue being different, or scenes slightly to completely different.

This usually always happens between book adaptions and movies. ID4 is a perfect example of this as there was a change of a character's final scene.

That being said though, the majority of it sounds good. Looking forward to the movie.

I hope this isn't the last in the film franchise. It does need a break for a bit, but from this ending, it could easily be picked right back up and ran with for a future story.

Exactly my thoughts. I don't think I've come across a novel and film adaptation of the novel (or vice versa) that are exactly the same.

Yeah I love the movie-verse and grateful to Bay for having put this characters onto film with a serious tone, just hope that the franchise carries on. If it makes money then it will!

Sorry if this has been asked already, but is the Superfund bank truck decepticon in the novel, and what's it's role?

When you read a novel you're basically the director.

That's said the book was alright but the movie will still likely suck!
