Wow the purple used on Megatron looks way off. I liked the purple the promo pictures showed more.

Still it's the best decoed version of that mold.

The headscuplt is nice for Optimus but meh i don't want him.

 

Dark Energon Megs is a super easy pass... but I'm definitely all over Optimus. Loving that sexy mouth. Oh wait... ummm..  

 

Getting this and selling the optimus to my friend (he doesnt want to pay bbts prices for just optimus)

I find it weird though that they never changed the pic on their site even though they used us in hand pics with this deco months back

 

All the Optimus mouth is doing for me is making me think of the boring lectures that constantly spew out of it.

 

That Megatron is kinda yucky, but that Optimus is glorious. Looks incredible!

 

Thanks for the pics, although they both look pretty lame, especially poor Megs who looks like he's wearing a leather jacket and bright purple stockings.

 

I want that Megatron!

 

Did you pick up either of them, zy? I'd love to see your photos of them but I don't know if you buy TFP figures....

I'm slightly underwhelmed on that Megatron, it looks kinda crappy and half-assed/ If the purple bits were darker, then it would look a million miles better, IMHO. That Prime is bought simply because I like the mould and he has a maskless face/

 

Hey Syd! I do buy TFP figures but not all of them. So I didn't pick these two up because I already have the FE Voyager Prime. As for Voyager Megs, I always have the impression he is giving off a very awkward smile instead of a menacing smile, so when what-is-seen-cannot-be-unseen, I chose to leave it  

I would prefer the original color scheme, but my camera phone is not exactly the best representation of the actual color, so hopefully it turns out better when you can see it in-hand  

 

Love them both, can't wait.

 

Ah, it's alright, Zy80. I think maybe I passed judgement of too harshly.   But you're absolutely right- I do have to see it in person to get a better image of that Megatron.   But really disappointed anyway that more clear plastic wasn't used.  

 

Finally! A reason to buy a Voyager TF  mold.

 

Well I guess I should've reported this over a week ago when I saw them here.
Saw the deluxe dark Energon ones even earlier.

I did immediately like the look of that Optimus when I saw it. But the problem is, if I get this one Dark Energon figure, am I gonna wind up getting all the others just to go with it? Didn't take the risk and will-powered up.
