Yeah I just saw this on Fox news, when it rains it pours.
Wow, I hate to sound insensitive, but it makes you wonder who is next. It always feels like it happens in threes. At least she is with her husband now. Must be really hard on their kids.
Sad news indeed. She's is so young too. My thoughts and prayers for the family.
wow, that really sucks
I hope there kids are well taken care of.
God rest her soul.
From the sound of the article she was rather healthy (at least appearance wise) just almost two months ago. (According to this news article on Yahoo! News. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060307/ap_on_en_mo/obit_reeve)
Now I know makeup and tricks can work wonders for a person. She probably was sicker than everyone thought. (I keep thinking back to Jerry Orbach on the cancelled L&O series.) The reason I bring this up is, perhaps she just missed her husband so much, loves him so much she just couldn't fight on anymore. Somewhere deep down maybe willed herself the rest of the way towards death. People have done it before.
Either way, my prayers are with the family, my hopes are with her and her husband. Godbless them all.
Fly her around Heaven Superman, show her the sights.
T_T First Superman, and now the Lois Lane to Christopher Reeve dies...She was so young, I wonder if the stress of losing Christopher was too much...how tragic
isn't her son about 12-13? I remember he was only about 3-4 when Reeves had his accident. I know he is probalby still young. Poor kid.
RIP, Dana Reeve.
She'll sorely be missed.
My sincerest prayers go to her and the Reeves family.
To me, besides the emotional and psychological stress, I think the chemotherapy and radiation treatment weakened her body as well.
It's very sad to see her go, but I'm sure she's with her husband now, and the two are flying happy.
It's always so much sadder to see a famous person, or somebody connected to famous people, pass on.
That is sad amd my deepest sympahties to her family.
