i think it is sad that g1 bumblebee is gone.
screw camaro bumblebee...freaking ugly and sucks ass.
The G1 bumblebee has/had tons more character and entertainment value than bay's bayformer voice deprived bee has.
Sad faces! I met Mr Gilvezan once at Auto Assembly a couple of years ago and he seemed a jolly nice chap.
Dan makes a good point. Very unfortunate.
I like movie Bee but in the in animation, Bumblebee is a VW Bug. That is all. (Or a Cybertronian saucer car thing)
Dan Gilvezan is the first person in the world to voice both Spider-Man and Bumblebee. His legacy has been handed over to Josh Keaton now.
Bye Dan, We'll miss you, sir!
I liked his voice, but honestly, I think it would sound odd to have G1 Bee's voice come out of what is basically an animated Movie Bee.
He was a great Voice actor though, I'll miss him.
This is bull I love the original Bumblebee voice I think he is to Bee like Cullen to Prime I would love to see him voice Bee in the movies as opposed to the automated voice and TF: Prime is lessened without his voice. If we can't get Dan I wouldn't mind the blackranger from WFC. BUt I really would like to see Dan return.
Dan will always be the 'bee for me
I hope we do see him come back in some form or another, maybe a few more years down the track when the live action movies have been consigned to the scrap-heap.
That sucks. bee lacks a personality these days.
Of course I'd want Dan back in Transformers. I'm not sure who he'd voice, though. But the guy was great when I met him, and I'd love for him to return.
LOL, why do I think the headline was a "The Fuzzy World" psych-out?
Anyways, while I didn't RTFA, it's sad to hear that he hasn't been approached, but I'm not really surprised to hear it... Animated was just *chock* full of nostalgia & homages, so it made sense to have all those previous voice actors come back and 'reprise' those roles, but this Bumblebee (at least the Bayverse one) is not the same (or even a reasonable facsimile) of the G1 Bumblebee character...
..if VW wanted nothing to do with the film How did Bay get an Audi (A R8 no less) in rotf ?
Now look what you did Michael, you've made Dan Gilvezan sad. Class act.
I am not a huge fan of the Live Action movies at all, but they were relatively entertaining.
I was immensely disappointed when we heard Bee's voice at the end of the first film and it WASN'T Dan Gilvezan, but Mark Ryan.
While I like Mark just fine, I was just really hoping we'd have SOME tie to G1.
Oh well. "The Movie" isn't getting any of my money, either through ticket sales or toy sales, that's my little rebellion right there.
I'm all for Dan coming back. G1 Bee had loads of personality, especially due to how Dan voiced him.
Ah man, that'sssss...Not really all that surprising honestly.
I'm sure old Danny boy is a real nice guy, but imo he's kinda forgettable.
Yeah I know, heresy!
If he were to ever get back into tranformers somehow, that'd be neat...Maybe it's mean, but I really honestly don't care. lol
He didn't. It was a fake mock up of an R8.
That's really too bad, along with Megatron, Starscream and Prime, BB was one of those iconic voices, but he's right. It's evolution.
Err, no. That was definitely a real Audi R8 in the movie. The *TOY* was never licensed, hence why it looks different from the car. However the car in both the movie and video game are fully licensed. Which is why at the beginning of the RotF video game there's a annoying, unskippable screen with all of Audi's copyright info on it.
Dont matter to me, I didnt grow up listening to him. I rather have David Kaye and Scott McNeil back.
