Anyone who ordered Gears... probably got Optimus Prime instead! What makes it worse, is the packing slip SAYS I ordered Optimus Prime, but only shows Gears. Sigh... My guess is they never had it in the first place.
I called to complain. They said if you print out your order from the My Account page which shows Gears, and take the figures back to the store, then you can get a full refund. Otherwise they will go off the packing slip which actually reads "Optimus Prime Legends" on it. You can also ship it back to Target but will have to wait 2-4 weeks for a refund.
I haven't gotten my "Gears" yet, but I'll just return it to my local Target whenever it does show up. I figured it was too good to be true but was worth a shot anyway.
Didn't order this, but last time they screwed me on a Human Alliance figure, they wouldn't refund the shipping in store.
Wait, you get to jump through several hoops to get a full refund... or you can just return it to the nearest Target and get a full refund. Bravo Target, bravo.
I don't think he was ever actually available. Seems more like a hiccup in the Website. He's currently listed as unavailable and not sold online.
Huh, not so upset that I missed the window now. Looking forward to Gears showing up in the (hopefully) near future!
These large stores need to get their stuff together. Still have mine preordered at BBTS hope I find them sooner though. Their search function sucks too.
same thing happened when i ordered dark steel from the beast hunters line...i got sent that cryo predaking figure instead. sometimes target and their DCPI system crashes and burns
