Titan is looking incredible! Definitely picking this one up. Absolutely loving the IDW designs coming out these days.

 

Hopefully he's not like 200-300.

i know from other posts that Arafat (no relation to Yasser) was trying to keep the msrp down. im sure he can step in here and tell us an estimate sooner or later, but maybe 200? i dont know that i would be willing to go past that, but yeah, its huge.
somone needs to shop generations metroplex into that last photo for some perspective!

 

the original intent was you could pick up the pair for around $300 for both. not sure if thats going to be offered anymore but i think each is $165. titan's bot mode is the better of the two IMO but kronos' alt mode IMO is superior. tough decision for some i'm sure.

 

easy for me personally, the only thing i display in altmode is MP grimlock and trailers for MP10(s). whoa, never saw this color pic.

Was just thinking after seeing the pic Decaulpa posted, I'm going to need a bigger shelf.

 

No, Kronos first, then later Titan. Titan had to be reworked to get the mods requested. Not sure when Titan is coming.

As for pricing, I remember Arafat saying that they were going to be around 160 - 170 $ each, and I think if you get both, even at a later time, you get a discount so you pay about 300$ for both. Not sure this still applies.

One character gets 2 or 3 toys made. Hasbro is making a Jetfire. 3rd party is making 2 Jetfires Titan & Kronos. Other characters get nothing. Nada, zip, zero zilch!

And when there's a mold that would be perfect for a character that hasn't been updated yet (Generations Blitzwing to Flywheels) what do they do? They make a character that is totally wrong for the mold (Doubledealer & Starscream).

It's just ******ed. I mean it feels like the people working in this industry are the most out of touch stupid insane ******s possible. Like they don't know the first thing about Transformers. I just wish I could see what it would be like if better more qualified people were working on these projects.

I'm not saying Titan & Kronos look bad, because I like them, I just wish these companies would make better decisions on which characters to make.

 

I don't know if these third party companies talk to each other about future projects or if they keep their cards close to their chest. I'd assume the latter seeing that we are more and more often getting the same characters multiple times at the same time.

 

Still hoping Titan is a thing cuz I wanted him more then kronos. I would lime to have him also. If not though I'm cool with just having kronos.

 

I feel the same way. I like Titan better overall and I can't imagine how cool he would look if he got the same revamp treatment that Kronos got. However, I will be happy either way to finally have an MP skyfire/jetfire on my shelf.

 

Whatever the reason, I'm glad the parties seem to do the same characters in waves. Choice is good. The fact that the Huffers came out together allowed people to choose which one fit their favored aesthetic. It they came out at widely differing times, many probably would have bought the first, even if they weren't thrilled with the given design—and then when another came out that better suited them, they may not have been able to get the one they liked better, because They'd already spent the money (and given the less than stellar QC record both seem to be having, they might not be able to make the money back on the secondary market).

I'm hoping that all the rumored Ultra Magni come out within a few months of each other, so I can be more comfortable choosing which to get.

Same for Jetfire/Skyfire, if he were a priority.

 

So Arafat, wih Kronos being pretty much sold out before release I assume that Titan is going to go ahead?
