You should send your sealed G1's to AFA!

The acrylic cases will help protect your Transformers, and if you ever decide to sell them, you will get more money because they are AFA graded.

    Thanks for the praise!

minibots are like bombs waiting to go off. the bubble will come unassed, just a matter of time. I bought a mosc windcharger and the damn thing was loose when it got to me. nice windcharger though, very nice. gonna be sending my metrotitan in to afa whenever the funds are feasible.

Tes this a question that besides the money thing keeps me of from the AFA thing.

The glue on carded stuff and on inner bubbles like most bots have...if it comes of then you cant do anything..you cant glue it back or fix it meaning the toy will if unlucky fumble around inside the afa case..does this concenr you..this problem would not be had if one graded jap stuff.

Is it harder to find MISB G1 in US versions or Japanese ?

It depends on the collector. I mainly collect series 1 pre rub minicars and series 2-3 minicars without minispies/decoys, but there are collectors that just want minicars with minispies/decoys. These specialized collectors are willing to pay a premium to have these minicars in their collection.

I bid on the Soundwave, but I didn't win. Then the Soundwave was re-listed, and I didn't bid at all. Even though this Soundwave was a rubsign, I'd still like to have it!

I'm currently working on getting an AFA 85 pre rub Soundwave.

that is one fantastic collection. A part of me actually wants to trade in my loose G1's for MISB toys. However, I dunno if i'll have the type of money to support that habit lol:drool:

That's my only complaint about AFA. In their early years, AFA totally screwed up denoting the pre rubs on the AFA labels!

Thanks, I hope I can get the Hound back from you.

I'd like to have access to a pharmacy!

That's a cool trick. Goo Gone can remove the glue residue.

From AFA's website: $3 per item - Have your item(s) gently cleaned to remove dirt, dust, frost, and debris, and when applicable attempt to gently remove sticker residue left behind on packaging.

I'm not sure if I would trust AFA to remove a price sticker?

My AFA pre rub minicars are the most fragile toys that I own!

I've had a total of 4 AFA pre rub minicars arrive loose, detached form the card.

This Windcharger should pull an AFA 90.

I also have a MOSC pre rub Bumblebee (Yellow) that needs graded. I plan to drive to a convention where AFA will be grading. These 2 will not be going through the mail.

    Good luck on your Metrotitan.

How can you live your life, man?
Unleash them from their Prisons and let them breath the free air.
    Nice collection.
