Thanks! Now only one Prime remains.

Wal-Mart in Frederick off of Guilford JUST stocked on a bunch of Earthrise stuff. There were two Starscreams, now only one. =)

Walmart north Salisbury got in what seems to be a few cases of Earthrise voyagers. Some are on the top shelf. I nabbed one Starscream and one Grapple. Target failed me during the sale, but I have these two now at least!

Snagged both sets of micromasters at the waugh chapel target. There was still 1 of the hot rod patrol left as of this evening.

Besides those micromasters last night, I've had no luck finding any earthrise stuff out on the shelves. Anyone been able to get it pulled from the back?

Tonight, White Marsh Target around 6:30PM had 1 Starscream, 1 Grapple, and some ER Micromasters.

I went home with the second Grapple and then of course immediately fucked up one of those super tight pegs and snapped it because I had completely forgotten the warning to sand them down a little. Go me.

So mine is still in the box, I haven't had a chance to open him up just yet. What peg is an issue?

The pegs that are on the base of his crane, the two that hang down just behind his head. They're two 5mm pegs that plug into the bottom of his feet when you transform him into vehicle mode. They're just a little too large sometimes, and they need to be sanded down a bit, or, well... snap.

Sadly no, there's no real way to glue them back on sturdily enough to not pull off again. You might be able to melt the plastic or something, I dunno, but not with the tools I have access to. I couldn't manage to get a good enough grip on the portion of the peg stuck in his foot either, so I just took an Xacto and sheered it flat to the foot so at least it's not in the way anymore. It'll still be fine, but it's just slightly unsightly and stuff. Oh well, my fault, I'll live with it. Maybe Grapple, as a first wave figure, will become super cheap on Amazon in a few months and I can pick up another one for like $10 and just have this one to customize or something.

Why not just return it to Target? They'll give you your money back.

I thought of that, but honestly

    1. it's my fault
    2. I would just exchange it for a new Grapple
    3. That removes a Grapple from the pool that some other collector or kid might want
    4. This Grapple, which is basically completely fine otherwise, and with a blemish that's entirely my fault, would be essentially trashed

It just feels more fair to keep this one and live with my mistake, than deprive someone else of a Grapple just for my mistake and ditch this poor thing for no real, pressing reason. This isn't like an important tool or something, it's a toy, and adult collector or not, I'm able to deal with that.

You are the kind of collector we need more of. The polar opposite of a figure swapper lol.

I respect all of that, but mine broke too and I do plan to exchange it for another Grapple. Companies plan for breakage, whether it's user error or not. It shouldn't be on the customer to navigate a fragile product. I certainly wasn't aware of the problem before it broke. Just...*snap*!

If a kid broke it in the same way I'd hope their parent would get a replacement for them, too.

As a dude who hates money I also play Warhammer and have broken plenty of plastic bits in the process. You could possibly use a tiny bit of green stuff and touch up the paint on that peg, if you have access to anything like that.

Westminster Target had 1 set of ER deluxes left (after I got mine) and lots of Battlemaster soundbarriers as of 330pm. No ER voyagers.

Still trying to find Starscream.. Are we still only seeing the Voyager Class at Target?.. or are we hitting saturation at Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc..?
