I'm gonna be using a CHUG Cyclonus head for a custom. I am gonna cut out his "horns", fill them, and sand them flush with the helmet.

It seems to m ethat plastic putty is actually kind of weak (might be wrong, tho.). Krazy glue and baking soda might be good for gaps- but is this too big of an area?

What should I fill this with? The head is ultimately going to be painted gloss white with a yellow area toward the top.

    Thanks in advanced.

use a product called aves apoxie sculpt. can be expensive but its the finest stuff for the job, other wise use something called milliput. easy enough to find in modelling shops and cheap too. ebay has a lot of it listed aswell.

these two are great and can do no wrong in my opinion.

The gap/holes left in the Cyclonus head after removal of the horns is too large for superglue & baking soda. I personally use ProCreate Professional Sculptor's Putty that I picked up at my local comic book/hobby shop back in Florida (before moving to GA). It works great for filling & sculpting, though I'm planning to try Aves once this stuff is gone.

    Thanks both of you.

Mighty Putty is also an option if you're just looking to plug in gaps. However, it's not good for scultping since it has a much shorter working time.
