Wow, that was random. Now that I'm complaining at all, mind you, but BBTS mostly seems to have given up on Cyberverse. Pre-ordered.

 

Snarl is skeptical now?

 

It's kinder, gentler, and dumber for kids (or their parents) today rather than:
An unhappy loner of few words and fewer opinions. Finds joy only in battle. Hates his Dinobot form, longs to return to Cybertron. Large golden plates on spinal assembly are solar collectors... strength increases tenfold in sunlight. Tail can shatter 20 foot concrete cube. Armored hide resists most missiles. Vulnerable to nighttime attacks due to his weaker state. Slow... uncooperative nature hinders others from helping him.

 

Forgot to mention this earlier, but it’s been in stock for a few days now. That was quick.

 

Hey, if you were inexplicably excluded from the first animated movie that also prominently featured the rest of your group, you'd be sour too.

 

That and he received a lot of toys for Age of Extinction yet was a no-show for that too. For all we know, his only cartoon appearance will be as Volcanicus' leg.

 

He wasn't designed for AoE. He was a HasTak original, just so that they could create a G1 homage team from the lot of them.

 

Huh. I always assumed that due to all the figures there were plans for him to be in the film.

 

Pretty sure, unlike all the others, we never saw film concept art of him to suggest he was ever planned for the movie, like Slash. Pretty sure Sludge/Slog was also HasTak original.

 

There's limited stock of Warrior Snarl available via HTS's eBay. And because he's $15.99 he qualifies for free shipping.

 

Mine arrived from HTS today, and I can confirm that you do indeed have to remove the tail for transformation (they've tried to pass it off as a sheath, and it can go on his back or hip and store the sword). Still a nice figure, though, with pretty decent articulation for a Cyberverse Warrior.

the partsforming tail is kinda lame

 

I thought that putting the whole tail off the side of the leg was silly, but honestly using the tail as an oversized sheath is kinda fun.

Overall, as a cheap Action Master Snarl homage, I'm pretty happy!
