Not sure if this is news, but I spotted Cyberverse Slipstream and Optimus Prime (Ultra Class) at a Meijer in Grafton, WI today.
Is it silly that I want this probably low possibility figure that costs way more than it should, purely because of how show accurate it looks to a character I like? I'm referring to Slippy-Dippy
As someone who also lives in a Meijer-less state,I feel your pain. Not at all. Scout Slipstream is a Starscream redeco that doesn't even have a proper alt mode. This Slipstream looks much better on both counts.
I wonder if Walmart will just skip the regular Transformers section and just put them straight in the clearance aisle for $10 so they have a chance at moving. The Optimus with trailer set has finally started moving once it hit $10 at one local Walmart. One other still has twenty of them sitting in the clearance section for $20 and they're collecting dust. Cyberverse has to be one of the worst performing toy lines in recent memory. Still that Slipstream is better than the Bumblebee movie Mission Vision Shatter toy. That abomination would be overpriced at $5. You want to good laugh, pick it up and scan it. If you don't laugh at the absurdity of the $20 asking price, there's something wrong.
Not at all. Heck, I just made a custom Slippy-Dippy, and I'm still tempted by the Ultra Class figure.
