Soundblaster mostly just seemed to have a general inferiority complex regarding Soundwave, to be honest, and Trypticon is a planet destroying space pirate who does what he does because he can. I wouldn't call it amazing, but sometimes petty villains work fine. We were never told why the Quintessons did what they did, either, that didn't stop their arc from being entertaining.

I don't think anyone has ever described Cyberverse as Amazing except haters who question why people like it. Not everything needs to be amazing to be enjoyable. Some times you can enjoy something even when you recognize the flaws and acknowledge that it could be better.

I don't understand why people have this either it's terrible or it's amazing mentality. There's an entire scale between those two points you're just blatantly ignoring. Cyberverse isn't either of those things but rather some where in between. I personally think the good outweighs the bad so I generally enjoy it. I wouldn't describe it as Amazing and I don't know anyone who would.

This show and the Netflix one could have been so much more.
There was potential in both shows.

I don't know about you guys. But as much as I enjoyed Cyberverse, watching this just cemented my beef with Hasbro.

All these shows that we've been getting lately have been making do with a shoestring budget.

Yet we get 7 movie abominations. Yay.

Yeah, that was my biggest gripe with it there's really no reason for the villains to be villains here.

I mean why not just say that these are the Decepticons who don't agree with the treaty and still want to fight the war?

I love how Runamuck and Runabout we're cameo'd. It's like Hasbro is fucking with me since I can't get both of em from Earthrise lol

    BUT...

Is it worth watching? Cyberverse has always been hit or miss and I have been skeptical of most of it.

I mean I'd argue its got a good but imperfect 1st season, a great second season, an excellent third season and a fantastic finale if that helps.

You could definitely feel they were stretching things out to fit the runtime here. The whole obstacle course thing was painful.

This episode isn’t gonna change anyone’s opinions on Cyberverse. It’s still a lax, comedy-based series above all else. And with all comedy, you’ll either like it or not. I’m in the latter group unfortunately.

Truthfully, the thing I did find funny was how nonchalant Grimlock was about graverobbing (other than not wanting to say he stole things). Not everyday you see something like that.

That obstacle course was CLASSIC! It was a straight-up homage to the 1980s training montage sequence. Absolutely essential!

Loved this episode and it prompted me to finally get the takara merc Soundblaster and set up this crew, I do wish Exhaust had made it into the special and that we had a figure for Afterburner

It was an ok episode. I liked the Dinobots & it had some great moments. But really it just felt like a longer regular episode.
