    I read somewhere that the writers didn't plan on it, just that they wanted Hot Rod to have some leader moments.

    Ah, well it did come off to me like they were setting him up to become more leader like and become the next Prime. It would be kind of nice to see Hot Rod become Rodimus again in a cartoon. You don't even have to kill Prime off just maybe make him retire and act as a mentor.

    Hot Rod and Soundwave together (however you want to look at them, please do not start an argument with me about this) in this show gave me life. I felt so bad for Roddy at the end.
