Cheetor’s original voice would have been nice, but with all this beast stuff coming back I guess it’s bound to happen by 2021

 

Wait, Lugnut is a girl now?   LOOOL. Nice to see they are adding characters from so many continuities - RID Sky Byte, BW Cheetor, Animated Lockdown and Lugnut...
Also Megs will finally appear in the flesh too. And seems like Bee gets his voice back as well. And even these armor toys will be represented on the show!
Cheetor hopefully gets a toy. Loving that design, especially how cat-like the robot mode face is too.

Does this mean in this universe Strika is a male, then?

Will transformers fully transform with the next waves of the line with this and will they have proper articulation in the warrior class not hampered by gimmicks?

 

Season 1 needed to have more of this in it. I loved it ALL. Love that the had a mix of TF Animated in there. Very cool. All so sooooo want to see more Beast Wars Transformers show up. I Hope they do a Cheetor toy. 

 

Lockdown?? I haven't paid much attention to this series but I'm totally buying any Lockdown toys that end up in this line. Hopefully we'll get a Warrior version...I'll need to start a shelf just for all of my Lockdowns. Also cool to see Cheetor show up in a (mostly) G1-inspired series, I like how they're bringing in characters from a few different lines (RiD, BW, TFA, what next??).

While I'm not sure about the choice of Cheetor as an 'ancient guardian', I like where this seems to be going. It would seem this universe has/had a 'Beast Wars' of some description, and now the appearance of Sky-Byte in the toy line is no longer an out-of-left-field thing.

Windblade, IDW comic homages, and now Animated and Beast Wars references. At this rate, Cyberverse might meet or exceed Animated's fanwank levels before it's over.

 

Full transform yes, "proper" articulation kinda, hampered by gimmicks, renames to be seen, but it look like a no.

Lockdown looks awesome, but I don't think I'll ever get used to female Lugnut. It'd look creepy if not for the lipstick making it hilarious.
"Guardian of the Allspark" doesn't seem a fitting role for Cheetor, either. Doesn't look bad overall, but it still doesn't interest me.

EDIT:

If it's not Lugnut, why even copy his design and colors? Why not just make a new Strika or give this new character a unique design?

Cheetor has been a mystical guardian of the Matrix before in comics, has he not? With the obscure references in Cyververse I wouldn't be surprised if it was homaging that.
