I'm not into Cyberverse very much but I have a feeling these might look tempting if there's a WFC & Studio Series drought.

 

I posted a PSA in the Cyberverse thread:

1. Shockwave’s crotch plate is not meant to be removable. You may break the figure if you try to remove it.

2. There are tabs underneath Bumblebee’s hood in alt mode to store his blaster.

 

Hopefully they\'ll go on sale for $15 soon. Maybe I\'ll buy my son one at that price to check them out. I bought one of the $24 Spark Armour sets on clearance at Target for $14 and felt ripped off after opening it. 

Hint to Hasbro: A box and a chunk of worthless plastic masquerading as a build a figure doesn\'t add $10 to the retail price of a product.

 

So what size are these ? And who is the BAF?

The Megatron and Optimus look great. It'll be cool to have a good figure of the evergreen design they've been using in the Thanksgiving Day parades. Ok I know that's probably a strange way to think about it, but I just think it's neat lol.

 

OP is the best of the 4, but Megatron is the worst, IMHO, due to the odd shoulder kibble and shortest height (noticeable). He’s not a terrible figure, though, and has the most complex transformation and parts (if you count the missile launchers).

 

The megatron is not great I have watched reviews on it and... not great.

Maccadam is not a really interesting character for being a BOB. Hasbro needs a better BOB if they want to motivate fans to buy all the line.

 

Why can't these worthless pieces of shit be a TakaraTomyMall exclusive instead of Piranacon? Why does all the garbage have to clutter up the store shelves while all the really cool stuff has to be an overpriced RIP-OFF Japanese import? This hobby fuckin sucks!!! 

Hasbro: "Let's give the scalpers all the good stuff so they don't have to get a real job & make the crap nobody wants readily available". Wow! Nice thinkin! Great strategy.   

So what you're saying is that you have to buy something, even if it's something you don't really want?

 

Since the figures you build will likely always be unable to transform and will serve only as a background characters, I think Maccadam was a good test subject to see if the concept is actually going to be viable in a Transformers line.

 

I feel your pain man. But the trouble is somebody wants these crappy toys. Parents buy em up because they are "cute". These are the toys that 3 years from now you will find in thrift shops, kindergarten toy chests, or on top of uncle Billy Bob's roof because little Jimmy threw it up there. You cant have a good meal without having a load of crap come out after. And here it is, G1 inspired crap.

To play devil’s advocate, the Cyberverse show is greatly improved and these look a lot better as well. I can’t get into another line, but I think these are pretty decent for kids. I may be tempted by a Hot Rod if I can find one on discount.

 

We are adults who find fun in these figures. TOYS will ALWAYS first and foremost, be for children. Piranacon isnt, and also is a TT design, not Hasbro.

 

Depressing that I’m not to kicked for these but really want maccadam for my 13 collection that I’m screwed. Anyone have these but don’t want his parts?
