The way I see it these are either in your wheelhouse or they aren't. My only disappointment is no BAF this time. Someone suggested Windblade would have been an obvious choice given the gimmick of the latest season. Anyway, I will likely be buying all of these.

Nice, so this is his earth mode? I forgot if he even had a cybertronian mode, since he got captured by the Quintessons when he got back to Cybertron, yet he got some toy that had larger, butterfly-like wings. I like how the robot chest cockpit is not fake but formed from the real one... and seems it can open? And cool, he has multiple accessories.
Curious what those thrusters on the plane back turn into, they are not the arms. And seems there is nothing indicated on the back to show who else is in this wave.

Maybe it's time for designers to start with the alt mode and then try to work out a robot mode from there? These "fold in half and leave robo-bits everywhere" alt modes are attrocious.

No, you're not. I know that kids aren't gonna care about the overall look of the toy, but dang. All of the deluxe Cyberverse figures have all looked pretty decent. I've been heavily considering on picking up the Cyberverse deluxe Arcee over the Earthrise version.

There is no way this Starscream looks worse than Hot Rod or Arcee though. He has alot less kibble and more dynamic shapes than both

Yikes that looks pretty bad. Hopefully Soundwave and Prowl are better. Mainly Soundwave since he's the one I'm interested in.

 

These Cyberverse Deluxe are actually pretty decent.
They\'re still not great but they\'re the best toys released for Cyberverse.

 

I actually kind of like the robot mode, but the jet mode is horrendous.

 

Looks like Hasbro gave up on the BAF concept with Transformers.  I would guess that the R.E.D. line would be short lived also.
