Well lets hope these are well made articulated figures for once!
Bumblebee in Warship mode? Are there... seas on Cybertron?
Eh. Still looks like cheapo and non articulated stuff. Ill psss thanks. But great for kids thou.
Cyberverse with knees?
It's like some beautiful dream
I like these armors
We seen Previews for Siege, Previews for Cyberverse; Whats next, Botbots or Studio Series.
If Broadside,G1 Megatron,Astrotrain, and G1 Soundwave can make scale weirdness work for them,it can work here. At this point I just accept the weirdness and roll with it. Thinking about scale discrepancies only leads to madness.
Megatron's tank mode is definetly not a tank mode.
I hope Sky-Byte\'s drill can plug into his anchor arm.
Bumblebee unleashes his inner shipgirl.
I clicked on this link out of boredom, after all Cyberverse is just gimmicky stuff I don't really have interest in, but these guys seem.... fun.
Like yeah it's absurd that Screamer gets a bulldozer, Bee gets a Battleship, but it all adds to the charm. It helps they all seem to have basic articulation!
Somebody at Hasbro is clearly a huge KanColle fan...
Anyway, definitely agree with you. Although, it's kind of satisfying at least that Hasbro admits defeat by relenting to the fact that
Transformers actually have to transform. I picture it kind of like,
"Dammit, no one's buying our amazing, cost-saving half robot half vehicle torso-former garbage-a-tron toys..."
"Well, even though it's a step backward on our road to full-on shit, here's a radical idea... what if... we made them transform again???"
"You're a diabolical madman... that can't possibly be what people want in this day and age."
prowl looks like Robert Z\'Dar
Waoh, Skybyte? Imma need one of those.
and what are they going to have left too show at Toyfair?
If these were legion scale I would be buying them up. They have just enough articulation for small scaled battles.
Theyre already a good size for kids but if Hasbro wanted to make a little extra money, would scrap the whole half-transformed thing their doing with legion class and just shrink these down.
I have to buy this because I own every other Sky-Byte toy. (Yes, all three of them if you count Gelshark separately.) I can't break a streak now.
all I can say is I want Sky-Byte in Cyberverse, he sould be in more types of media other than RID 2001 and IDW
The sea of rust.
Megatron's vehicle mode is the most gap happy looking tank mode I have ever seen. The armor gimmick looks really dumb. But on the plus side these figures look like they might actually have some decent articulation became the stupid gimmick is non intrusive unlike the previous batch of Cyberverse toys. The base figures without the armor all look good and I wouldn't mind having that mini-Ark, I'm never going to use it as armor but the Ark itself looks cool.
This gives me hope for a decent Shadow Striker figure in the future... also what if as her Armor gimmick she just came with a Generic Seeker who could be attached to her normal robot mode to give her that asyemetrical put back together from dead seekers look?
This is only initial preview highlights. More to come, especially if these do well.
