    From Kidtoy.ca.
    Transformers Cyberverse 1-Step Changer

... it's just the RID figures minus the scan badges. Bumblebee is a redeco of the second version from 2016. And I guess Soundwave's blue plastic might be lighter.

    Dat Boxart tho.

Love those designs. Hopefully this means those two will be appearing in the show at some point.

I have a suggestion ; Perhaps some one can make round rub signs for these to fit in the cut outs - they could also be made smaller to fit on the EZ series toys too that also have a round gap on them.

The lighter coloured Soundwave is interesting I guess - I would like to see them use the mould they have in a more creative way though like repainting one into Scatterspike or Thermidor. They could also do one of the Sideswipes in Red Alert colours too.

I saw some people on the internet stating that Cyberverse designs are not based on Evergreen. I mean, look at Soundwave. How can that not be the Evergreen design?

Cool. I was never a big fan of one-step changers. Then my sister picked me up a couple while she was in Japan, and they were actually pretty awesome. Now I regret not grabbing more of them from the RiD line. Guess this is my chance to make amens.

Is Hasbro really just reusing old molds for a new line like they did with Age of Extinction and The Last Knight?

They've been doing that since distinct "lines" became a thing:

    - Generation 2 reused Generation 1 figures.
    - Robots in Diguise (2001) reused Generation 1, Generation 2 and Beast Wars figures.
    - Armada reused Beast Wars figures.
    - Universe (2003) consisted of nothing but redecos from Generation 1, Generation 2, Beast Wars, Machine Wars, Beast Machines, Robots in Disguise and Armada.
    - Energon reused Armada figures.
    - Cybertron reused Armada and Energon figures.
    - Classics reused Cybertron figures (Legends).
    - The 2007 Movie line reused Energon, Cybertron and Classics figures (for exclusives).
    - Universe (2008) reused Cybertron figures.
    - Revenge of the Fallen reused 2007 Movie figures.

    Shall I go on?

The design of Blurr (or at least his head) takes design cues from his IDW look!!!!

By Primus, Hasbro and their tendency to repack, repaint everything, even their worse molds!

Bluh. Bluhbluhbluh. They didn't even remove the moulding for the Decepticon and Autobot Souvenir Poker Chips.

Hmm, Cyberverse designs seem to take from G1, Animated and RiD2015. It's not a bad looking combination. I liked the design direction they took with Animated and RiD2015, so it's neat to see they are upgrading it. I love the inclusion of colors!

Is Evergreen supposed to be Cyberverse for older audiences?

Evergreen isn't its own thing. It's just a series of new character designs that are being rolled out across multiple different toy-lines to keep all the character's looks consistent, regardless of the toy-line. Cyberverse is using them. Authentics is using them. Some Generations toys are using them. Even IDW is slowly beginning to shift towards them.

Evergreen just means "universal artstyle" basically, like they can use these designs for the cheap toys, pencil cases, and if they want cartoons, and comics. Kind've like Marvel kids stuff right now, all just based off the movies aesthetics, and that way there's no conflicting artstyles """diluting*""" the brand.

*As a dumbass not buisness man this is what I think.

I might actually get Soundwave , these one-steps are a guilty pleasure of mine.
So as it stands right now , these are the characters appearing in this series:
    Decepticons:
    Megatron
    Soundwave
    Shadow Striker (new character)
    Slipstream
    Starscream
    Shockwave

    Autobots:
    Optimus Prime
    Bumblebee
    Grimlock
    Windblade
    Blurr

I feel the need to point out that traditionally a character getting a toy doesn't necessarily mean they're appearing in the show. Having said that though, I feel pretty confident we're going to see all of these guys, because most of them are A-listers.

Robots in Disguise also reused Beast Machines figures, as well as released a few that were not released in the Beast Machines line itself.(Megabolt Megatron and Air Attack Optimus Primal.)
