Ewww. This didn't work in Energon. This didn't work in RID. I like the duocon/bot idea... especially with Multi-force but there has to be some sort of aesthetic, not just 2 transformers squished together.

A big part of this is the gimmicky figures of this line tend to be … this. The higher quality/detail ones are great and very show-accurate.

 

I really wish I didn\'t have the idea of Grimlock being Wheeljack\'s kid in my head.

I think I might get this. Grimlock looks really nice in gold (a bit chunkier than usual, but for a Dinobot that’s not necessarily a bad thing) and he and Wheeljack look good in all their different modes.

 

Did my wife call Hasbro and say 'I really want Dragonclaw to slow down...can you please put out some truly awful figures he cannot possibly be tempted by?' ....and if so, why would Hasbro say yes to that request?

 

or even Wheel-lock, which sounds somewhat logical in the TF naming conventional-sense

I know it's Cyberverse...but it does seem like someone at Hasbro was thinking of "take your son to work" day when conceiving this project.

My biggest issue with Cyberverse is the lack of paint. It’s like releasing the G1 toys without a sticker sheet; they’re just bland and unfinished without the extra details.

 

It’s a better mental image than a father wearing his son like a shirt.
