Anyone know whatever happened to these? I recently dug my copies out of my comic longboxes and was disappointed all over again to remember that they just ... stopped after the first Beast Wars volume. Do we know what it was that made 'em stop? Because at the time they were talking about going all the way. There's even a reference in one of the books to upcoming volumes for the Japanese-only releases...
Writers actually a board member: hiro prime. U could just directly pm him. In fact hes part of the effort this site is doing in terms of building a TF profile database.
Hmm, interesting. I'll keep it in mind, though I'm reluctant to be intrusive with an unsolicited PM at this point in case there was bad blood or something involved. But if he happens to read this, I'm definitely one who would love to see the series continue if it was in any way feasible.
I believe this thread may have covered some of your questions. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...on/307933-collector-guide-books-best-one.html
... Really? A cover mistake forgetting to put "Unofficial" in the title gets a cease and desist from Hasbro and bang, the whole thing's over? That's ... so lame. On Hasbro's part, I mean. And Antarctic Press'. How frustrating.
Yes, we do. Right after they finish Beast Wars and then do Beast Machines, RiD, the Trilogy lines, etc. and etc.
Have them all bar the Beast Wars issue and they really are great. The Pretender/Powermaster issue was very hard to find.
I really wonder if this is something IDW would be interested in re-publishing and/or continuing. Maybe it could even be "Official" this time.
