I love it
Called up so many Targets and eventually I gave up. Nobody has him what a surprise. If this doesn’t go up online I’m just going to skip. No point driving for hours and wasting gas to come up shorthanded.
I thought Target was improving with the GI Joes but first McFarlane Superman then T-Wrecks and now this Bumblebee. Target is the king of screwing people over on their exclusives.
I don’t like Bumblebee as a character and not a big fan of Cybertronian alt modes. I already have Netflix Bumblebee and the Buzzworthy core 2 pack with Spike. However, I am thinking of getting this one due to it being different. Not sure yet.
i'm sure in a month we'll be swarming with sightings. if you call every store constantly asking them about toys that are insanely specific, much less not even at retail saturation yet, you'll end up very disappointed with life.
Yeah, I think saucer Bee's official Target street date is August 11th. I imagine he only showed up in a few stores so far because the employees jumped the gun and needed stock to fill shelves. (My local Targets here in SW FL have had really bare shelves for the past three weeks or so.)
Like Fallout said, he'll be all over Target shelves next month. Don't give up hope yet.
yeah, I’m thinking origins Bumblebee will be as plentiful and easy to find in stores as the Buzzworthy Bumblebee and Spike two pack.
also let's remember these are just normal retail employees, so we can only expect their best when a bunch of nerds are trying to track down "the yellow round small bumblebee transformer from the buzzworthy bumblebee line... not that one... no... does the one you're holding turn into a flying saucer...? no... should say origin... no?? you sure? ok"
If saucer bee isn’t an assortment and is full cases, we should be fine.
His package doesn't have a plastic window? Hope he won't be stained or worst!
for a few months Buzzworthy stuff was easy to find in store. i wouldn’t fret yet.
He is indeed a solid case of 8. Which is good news for everyone.
Saw the little guy today. Was gonna grab it.
Then I saw it was $23.
Ha ha ha ha ha... no.
But hey- I at least got to touch it:
Don’t worry- I’m vaxxed and my hands are clean.
And look at this guy:
Didn’t know he was making a comeback. I guess I should have.
No plastic window has to be the dumbest decision made in a while. I get the idea is to cut down on plastic usage, but this is ridiculous. To me it doesn’t even make a damn difference when the product itself is already plastic.
Shame he can't hold the Energon rods. Not for me, but I hope others enjoy him.
To be fair, the plastic used in the product itself isn't meant to be immediately thrown out.
My local Cal Waste won’t let me recycle that type of cardboard. So into the trash it goes.
But hey- we got rid of a little piece of clear plastic.
Yes, but a sliver of plastic to prevent the figure from being touched isn’t too much to ask for. There are other alternatives to no window but open box.
Gah, no wheels! I am very surprised at this because he is an *Autobot*. Definitely not a flying saucer. Hell, in the cartoon you can even see one of his wheels coming off when he is shot. That's a pretty obvious miss by Hasbro.
Still getting him, of course.
Looking forward to hearing Emgo say, "He does NOT roll as rolling things should".
Hoo-ray for sliding.
looks like paper ties are making a comeback.
So they were able to remove all that clear display window plastic. But that hang-it-from-a-hook plastic, that's absolutely vital.
- you better hurry and get your 'never-been-touched' figure before they've all been molested.
