You're right to have a list of recolours of these retools. Another retool of Origin BB would be the Ark; regardless of scale.
i mean, in an intent sense that Bee is basically Earthrise, but for the purposes of what Dale is saying... yeah, he's not truly "Earthrise". He didn't actually release in the Earthrise line.

I have a hypothesis with this. I believe that it may be the case that Hasbro wants to keep a similarly-sized alt mode for Arcee, despite Arcee herself being a lot smaller in mass. It's not that they can't integrate her alt mode kibble into her body; it's that if they do, her alt mode will be smaller than Cliffjumper's. Therein lies the problem.
Since there's already a deluxe RC that is in scale, I think you're being too generous. I think it's simply just a case of needing a cheap figure and a wave. Basically she's allowing other characters to be more complicated and larger in the same wave.
You are right. With a body like that and the shape of the alt mode? It's almost impossible to do. Even the mp and other 3rd party can't do it. She still and forever be a shellformer with a big backpack than usual. Unless it's a completely new design and not G1.
I'm not saying that it can't be done. I'm saying that Hasbro trying to make a standard Autobot car-sized alt mode out of a character that thin can't be done. I do think that a smaller alt mode can be produced out of a thin bot mode like Arcee's.
