I'm wondering if anyone know about the different Cybertronian alt modes outside of G1? In G1 there were the powerdashers, jumpstarters, Cosmos, the 1986 vehicles like Kup, Springer, Blurr, Cyclonus, Scourge, etc. All of their alt modes don't look like Earth modes and look more alien looking. I already know about the vehicons from Beast Machines. I also know of the recent Transformers Siegeline that has Cybertronian alt-modes, but they resemble Earth vehicles too much. Are there any that anyone would recommend I check out?

 

The Energon toyline had lots of cool Cybertronian designs. Highly recommend.

 

Have you looked at the 2010 War For Cybertron toyline and the 2012 Fall of Cybertron line?
Based off the computer games, there are some interesting Cybertron alt-modes there, although the quality of figures can vary wildly. Personally I liked the WFC take on Optimus, but others like FOC Jazz are very hollow figures.

Sharkticon, Bruticus Maximus, Megatron, Jetfire and Skyblast are among my favorites.

 

Megatron from the first bay movie and The Last Knight has a pretty cool looking alien jet mode, and his tank mode in ROTF is very alien looking too. Check out the studio series figures for 07 and rotf versions. I would also say T30 Chromia has a sweet looking TRON-esque bike mode and I've always been partial to Cybertron Sideway's jet mode.
