    The idea of a cybertronian alphabet that directly correlates to the English alphabet makes zero sense.

    I know they wrote it that way so people could decode it, but that doesn't make it any less nonsensical.

    Yeah, this info has been around, was popping up occasionally in the TF movie forum when the first movie came out, especially since we were seeing the Cybertronian on screen.

    It's just lazy, inventing a Cybertronian language would be interesting but it should take a whole lot more effort and creativity than just decoding the alphabet.

    There are other form of Cybertronian lettering out there. Just in the comics, we had the marks on the ceremonial urn used in the Rite of Oneness (as seen in Warrior School), the lettering on the handheld scanner in Devastation Derby, plus the eponymous Decepticon Grafitti.

    Given that these are robots with computerised brains, the fact that they seem to have a written language like our own seems very weird - you'd think they'd have something a bit more succinct like QR codes or microdots or something.
