I don't know why I've had Noise maze so long and never realized how perfect his mold was for ratbat. For a complete gallary go to http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w306/magnusprime_bucket/ The photo doesn't show off the sparkle of the gold and gun-metal (which shows up black in pics) and it makes the purple look overly glossy, but the photo gives the idea. I almost feel we need a photography thread since my customs usually look 20% better than my photos.
Sweet! Alt mode looks like a freakin' lookin bat, but awesome none than less. Awesome work, iconscons.
Heh... I've been calling Cybertron Sideways "Ratbat" since I got him. I mean, he practically transforms into a robot bat as it is.. or a Batman vehicle at least. He even has fangs! zmog
That link would help a whole lot of people who post here out . . . With that aside (and off of my chest in a general sense), I'd like to say that this is one of the nicest renditions of ol Ratbat I've ever seen; great work
The paint seems to be a bit thick, but it could just be me. I really like this custom, though I think the details could benefit from having a Gundam marker or Micron pen taken to them. Despite my minor complains, I think it's a good piece.
there are a ton of photography threads both in this forum and in the toyark as well, just have to search for them currently.
That's awesome. That paint scheme really makes the torso look like a giant bat head. I never caught that before. I may have to repaint the noise maze sitting on my shelf upstairs. Man, I've got a lot of projects to get working on! I'm going to be roughing out the initial design for MP Starscream Coronation accessories tonight at work, cleaning SS at some point, maybe working on this Ratbat mod, and getting around to trying my hand at the Cyb Metroplex-> Fort Max I've been digging around the thread. And I still want to do that revamp of G1 Devastator in the vein of ptitvite's custom. Whew.
This was my thinking too. In reference to your photos, the nature of my post was hopefully one to say that it's not like your thread should just be singled out for the photos. There are quite a few here that really take great pains to make their photos look really great (and some that just don't like taking the pain to start with *whistles while rolling his eyes* ). My hope is that it doesn't seem like you're being singled out amongst many who are guilty of the same thing. That being said, I think your quote's proof will be in at least one REALLY sharp photo of each mode. [note my verb tense here ] Keep up the good work man! *goes back to dreading to shoot his own galleries*
