Repugnus and Undermine are brothers, hmm. On the one hand, it stinks of the Energon repaint characters, but on the other, Repugnus like most of Cybertron is more in-depth than the drivel we got in Energon (and at least he's no C Sky Shadow). I do like how he rules over that puny little swamp, maybe just because Scourge doesn't care about such a useless region. I think there's some fanfic potential there.
Heh, I can just picture Shortround's nerdy obsession with Thunderblast, too. "Um... uh... he-hey... um... Thunderblast? Maybe next week, you and me could, you know... go out or someth--" "EW! Not in a million vorns, you dork! Get away from me!"
Heh, I like these. Shortround and Repugnus just got themselves a couple of spots reserved on my shelves.
Too bad, Shortround would have made a really cool crazy-ass insane decepticon... the nerd thing with a crush on T-Blast is a little... much. Repugnus is fine, though it would have been cool to make him a dark, murdering autobot like his G1 counterpart... but that probably would'nt have sat well with the kiddies, eh?
Can someone please remind me when Soundwave is set to be released...? From the looks of it, I'd guess we'd start seeing him in March..
Sounwaves bio is awesome! I like Shortround, but would've liked it more if he was some kind of crazed warrior on the battle field, but some whipped little puppy eyed for Thunderblast guy off it. Repugnus works, he rules the swamp, cool.
Hasbro are definatly putting a lot more thaught in to their bios. Repugnus sounds very interesting there is definatly a good story there. Shortround has a very amusing bio. Nerd . Soundwave, just awsome. Hasbro
Too bad they don't show a picture of the back of Repugnus' box. It'd be nice to see how his tech specs compare to Undermine's. Definitely going to be picking him up. I love the mold, and I like the colors of this one, as well. The Soundwave figure looks pretty good to. I'll need to keep an eye out for him, even though I've never really been a fan of the cassettes in the chest, thing. Shortround is worth picking up simply for the sheer novelty of his silly name and bio.
