Not bad looking at all, though the "Primus Unleashed" thing looks very tacked on. Like in another six months we'll have another banner below that one! Any chance of a sneak peek at the bio?
Enough with the Earth planet exclusives already (Hardtop, Swindle, Brushguard, Shortround, Downshift, Armorhide, Sky Shadow, Cannonball and now Skywarp) Though I probably wouldn't be complaining if Skywarp wasnt so... gross-looking. Of all the awesome deluxe toys to repaint (and there are lots of awesome ones), why pick what is arguably the weakest mold of the line? Oh well, I'm sure some people may like him, so I suppose it's not all that bad.
While I don't like the TC mold (too floppy), I'll still pick him up for the hell of it. I won't pay an arm and a leg, but I'll get him nonetheless... Chris EDIT: Wow. My post count went down to less than 10% of what it was. I feel like a newbie again...
Hey... The TC mold isn't weak. It has it's strong points like transforming and being a big G1 reference and... Err... Did I mention it transforms? Heh. And incidently, I agree that it's time Hasbro let go of the Earth Planet fixation they seem to have. Just repaint Scourge into Doublecross, Brimstone into Swoop, Brakedown into Bumblebee, Snarl into Grotusque, Ransack into Groove or Wreck-Gar, Wreckloose into Iguanus, Longrack into Sludge and Sideways into Banzai-Tron (a friend of mine did this. Soooo cool) and be done with it already! Anyways, it's probably the beginnings of a 'Seeker mold' repaint series like they did in Armada for Starscream and Thrust and was done originally way back when. *Patiently waits to be proven right by seeing a Sunstorm repaint of Cybertron TC in a couple months*
To be fair, the jet mode is pretty nice, and the way the feet transform is really very clever. And....yeah, that's pretty much it.

Honestly I think there's a better chance of the Voyager sized Starscream repaint for Sunstorm, since that's what they're doing in LoC. I don't think it'll happen, but if they do make a mainline Sunstorm my money's on the Voyager mold.
Blah. Blech. Crap. Seriously, why are they doing this? Are they trying to mock me? When GF was starting up, I figured a Skywarp was a sure thing, but as a repaint of GF/2 pack Mega Starscream, not craptastic Thundercracker. Terrible. Why is he purple? He should be Black with purple highlights! It could've worked out so well. Thundercracker the same, Big SS in the US, and Skywarp as the Mega sized version, and as a USA Exclusive in Japan, to get three seekers as three figures that aren't exactly the same. I'm not buying this. I don't care if it comes with a hundred dollar bill. I'm not buying this.
I love the seekers so I'll pick up Skywarp regardless of how bad the mold is. Just too bad they didn't repaint Starscream like they did in G1 and Armada.
I know it probably won't happen, but I'm still holding out for SW to get an upgrade story like the defense team and become a Voyager Starscream repaint.
I don't mind the Thundercracker/Skywarp mold; although I agree that the feet are quite wimpy. That being said, GF Skywarp should like nice beside my collection of GF Galvatron, GF Soundwave&Laserbeak, GF Thundercracker, & Energon Starscream as an homage to G1 Season 1.
Packaged like that in jet mode can be deceiving, but I still won't buy Skywarp. The original mould is ok but not worth having two. If the paint app was more black and Skywarpish, maybe... I am very disappointed, as I was looking forward to more of GF size Starscream repaints
I really wanted him... Really, I did... But then I saw the wings on the proto pics with that reddish stuff on his wings and it just ruined it for me...
Excellent! We need more earth based alt modes, and this is one of the better ones. My Decepticons can use the extra man power, too.
I don't like the colour. It's closer to what thundercracker should have been. Skywarp needs to be black with darker purple. That colour looks like what movie galavatron would be like as a plane. And yea, as already mentioned, I'm just waiting for a seeker lineup to come following this one. Maybe next we'll have a blood red repaint that just happens to be called thrust... then a pure white one....... then probably a brown one.
