I prefer the chromed out wings too, but will still get one or more of the Sideways because it is only a deluxe and I feel it is one of the bes TF mold that have come out... Period.

He'll go next to my stack of Bendy Primes :)

I plan on getting a few of the Autovolt mold too because I think it is almost as nice... Almost.

Also I don't blame anyone for importing it because of the fact that you could get 3 American ones for the price of an Japanese one. And the difference are subtle enough where only the most nitpicky, or the fans of vac-metal (me), would apperciate the changes that much.

I also got it only because I had a group of Ebay auctions go WAY higher than I thought they could and decied to splurge on a bunch of stuff.

    Um...Noisemaze's chrome is like, vac-metal. :D

That said, if you can do that, GIMME THAT POLISH.

My bad. It's something that really wasn't obvious in the shots; I had to look at the wing shots 4 or 5 times to find any clue that the wings were chromed/super reflective.

That said, I still wouldn't call the Cybertron version a bad paint job. Yeah, chrome is cool, but no chrome doesn't ruin the figure either.

If you lift up the back piece a little bit, the key fits pretty snuggly in there, and gives him a little more bulk through the middle when seen from head on.

Sideways' blade holsters fold flat against his shins, y'know?

I've heard reports of the twist ties rubbing off the paint as well...

Havne't seen very many of the new ones in my area but I know I will probably pick this guy up. I really dig his look in the show. After him I await Chromia's US release so I can do what needed to be done in one ep. Sideways bonks her on the head when she goes into crush mode.

I just got him tonight. and I discovered that his key DOES stay in. Just push it in a little bit more until it clicks into place. It'll stay. I'm surprised I'm the first person to point this out.

Is that all it is? If so, then I can't believe so many people would fall for something so obvious. Yeesh, I've been doing that with Noisemaze forever, that I didn't even realize that the release spring had enough oomph to it to actually launch the chip.

O.K. I just pushed the key in as far as it will go without breaking it , and it's just as far as I have been inserting it.
It is still just as loose, and shoots out of the back of his arm.

Thanks anyway, I appreciate the effort.

Yes, it clicks -- but it also sometimes (rarely) still shoots out.

    Weird, I know.

Some people have said that tightening the screws at the back of his shield helps.

Tightening the screws does make my key stay in, but now the Autobot insigna only comes back about halfway when the key is removed. I tried looseing it back just a bit, but then the key projectile problem comes back.

Oh, well I would rather have a place to put the key on him, I can just pull the little tab up manually

I love this figure. A little on the skinny side in robot mode but wow what cool looking toy. The alt mode makes me happy haha.

I just got the GF version of this today, and all I gotta say is:

If they'd have given him a swivelling waist, he would've been pure perfection!!
