Leobreaker arrived the other day and to be honest he does'nt impress me as much as other toys in the line. His Alt mode looks great but his bot mode leaves alot to be desired. With Limited articulation and oddly shaped legs that don't really go well with the upper body. While he's not a bad figure I think Has/Tak could have done a better job with him. I have'nt combined him with optimus yet (he's currenlty sonic Convoy) I did try him on Megs and he was a bit to heavy for him to stand up. Also I want to mention I feel uncomfortable snapping his front legs off to transform him since they're so tight and I'm afraid the peg could snap off. As for differences with his Galaxy Force counterpart the only think I notice is his Hair is Brown while Liger Jacks is Gold.

I have Ligerjack, and I have to voice some of the same opinions/concerns.

1.) The combined mode: Too heavy, topples. However, if Prime is in super mode (sans Sonic Bomber) and you have Leobreaker on, he will actually counterbalance and it meets a happy medium. Megatron, on the other hand falls flat on his face. Prime without the armor will fall as well.

2.) The legs popping off for combined mode: They *DO* feel like they'll break, but it's been my experience that they will not. I'm the second owner of my Ligerjack and both the original owner and I transformed him multiple times, no breaks. If you're worried, slip a small flathead screwdriver beside the pin, and push the tabs that lock it in place, away from the peg, should slide out easier. (I've not tried this, cannot guarantee it will work, nor do I hold any responsibility if breakage does occur.)

3.) His robot mode is not the best, I'll admit, but he's not terrible either. I personally like this figure very much. It's one of my best decisions for a TF in a long time.

Dark Ligerjack on the other hand... :p uke

I also received Leobreaker this week and he rocks. Getting him combined with Super Mode Prime is a little difficult, but once he's on there, he looks awesome. I *just*(as of like 2 minutes ago) put the tail whip on the claws(in the "kneecap" hole) and Prime's blaster in his free hand, and it looks amazing. I hope Sonic Bomber looks this good when he finally gets here.

All in all I'm loving Leobreaker. I tend to come up with my own backstory for my TF's(they all loosely follow their respective storylines) so that for me brings out more to the actual figures. Meaning, I tend to like each and every figure because *I* give them more depth than Hasbro or Takara does. I guess that's the joy of playing with toys.

damn. well what on earth is the point of a combiner mode if ya can't make the combiner even stand up???? so I take it the arms arn't even strong enough to hold him up either??? :(  this BLOWS!

He stands just fine for me. I've even put things between the claws(like Hardtop) and he stands fine.

To those who own him, does he have hold on his face like Takara's, or is completely black like the pics from Toy Fair?
If anyone can post a pic of Leobreaker's robot mode, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

You mean on top of is head? Yeah theres gold there. Like I said when comparing him to Liger Jack the only difference is his Liger Jacks mane is gold while Leo Breakers is brown.

TSFC, does Ligerjack have electronics? The reason I ask is because my GF Starscream doesn't have any, and I've heard that the Galaxy Force Mega sized figures don't have electronics. However, to add to my confusion, Vector Prime has electronics. WTF?!? Is Takara putting all the Mega figures' names on a dartboard and whoever gets a dart, gets electronics? Sorry for the rant, but damn! That's why I stick with Hasbro.

Yes. Ligerjack and Leobreaker have electronics.

You have to move the right arm out of the way to get to the screw to open the battery compartment. 2x AAA Batteries.

The green piece on his forehead is the button that activates his electronic gimmick. Which is: His jaw moves and makes a roaring noise. That's it.

Apparently Starscream and other Mega/Voyager figures don't have electronics in the Jpn line. This is what I was told, I was told that Demolishor doesn't have electronics and he too is the same class and price range as Starscream.

Would it be possible for someone to post some pictures of C-Leobreaker...? I'd really like to see what the differences between him and Liger Jack are. Thanks. :)

    Hmmm
Even with extra stuff added on, my Convoy stands very well with liger.

Megs on the other hand, whatever side you have the arm on you'll have to make that leg complete straigt at the hip and knee and then point his feet out like a duck.

Ah, you executed my idea of using an Unicron hand on Liger Convoy. Looks nice.

Would you mind posting some pictures, detailing how you connected the hand parts, etc?

I got Leobreaker today. I must say I am dissapointed with the legs, but overall the figure is really neat. I have been messing with him all day instead of important things. He's just a fun figure in my opinion, plus he's just $20!

I got Leobreaker about a week ago and I've been meaning to post my feedback.

As a beast, I think he's good. He has good articulation and can pull off some decent poses. I wish he had midsection articulation and you could turn his head, but I understand sacrifices had to be made for the transformation scheme.

Robot mode is his strongest suit. A lot of articulation makes him able to pull off some impressive poses. The lack of midsection articulation again bothers me, but no biggie, the positives out way the negatives.

and now the arm mode. God what a mess this is. I would be able to forgive the lack of a proper hand if the thing wasnt such a terrible terrible brick of an arm. Seriously, the energon basic limbs managed to have more articulation in limb mode than this guy, and he's over three times their size! Having said that, I can't forgive the lack of a proper hand since there is no good thing about Leobreaker's arm mode. They should have left this mode out and spent more time on engineering the other two modes more.

In the end, I feel he is worth the $20 voyager price for his alt and robot modes, but if you're getting him just to combine with Optimus Prime, prepare to be sorely disappointed.

Leobreaker looks great in Lion mode...REALLY great...impressive and imposing. In robot mode....meh. The legs look HORRIBLE...the articulation is workable, just visually from a design standpoint there's NOTHING there. Really 'blah'.

As an 'arm'...I dunno it's not bad, it doesn't look like an arm at all, but with the claws and all it does look likt it would make a formidable weapon so thats alright. As just an arm i think it would look pretty ******ed anyway but as a bigas weapon it makes sense.

Overall I'll give Leobreaker a C+, mainly for the cool alt mode.
