Are both version of Cybertron Hot Shot (not the legends version) deluxe sized? I just bought one off somebody on the Junk Exchange and wanted to be sure I was getting the car and not the armored tank.

Shit. I told the guy I wanted the Excellion mold. He said "I got it for 9.99 at Walmart" which doesnt really tell me much. Oy, I just sent him two PMs. I hope he knows what I'm talking about.

I believe only the car was made as Excellion.

CD Hot Shot was never repainted during Cybertron, wasn't at all until Springer for last year's Botcon. So, you're almost certainly getting the car.

Although the armored car, I believe, is harder to find. It goes for a TON on eBay now. If he ends up sending you that one, you could probably sell it and buy two or three of the sports-car version. :p

EDIT: Actually, I just checked, and it seems even the car version is going for a lot these days. What the heck...? Cybertron toys have really shot up in price!

That's nuts. I only wanted Hot Shot so I could repaint him as Smokescreen. I would have waited for the Universe/Classics version but I like the Cybertron mold. The G1 update in Classics feels sort of dull to me.

Oh and I think I'll put my MIB white Vector Prime on ebay soon. People are paying up to $50 shipped for him.

To think, I had to give away some Cybertron toys just to get rid of them.

I wonder what my prototype Hot Shot would go for now...?

I also wonder why I didn't get more Cybertron figures like Thunderblast, CD Hotshot, etc...?
