I don't know if this has been brought up before, I never seen it brought up. But did anyone notice that in episode 6 Thundercracker says "Starscream transform" I am guessing that is why episode 6 is not on Hasbro's website? Also the Crosswise thing? Could they not figure out which name they liked better for him?
The "Thunderscream" incident was pretty blatant. As for the Crosswise thing, Smokescreen was the character's original name, and then they changed it later in the production phase. The dubbers obviously didn't get the memo quick enough. Thankfully most of Cybertron's errors have been minor voice errors, and nothing really confusing like Armada's countless name swaps. While we're on the subject, though, in the episode "Cybertron", Wingsaber's first line is spoken with Evac's voice actor. Later, Evac's last line in the ep is spoken by Wingsaber's VA.
WHATYOUSAY? no way, g1 was the most brilliant thing ever, there was never any goofs or anything else wrong...all those color things were just other characters that just never got toys...and some can change their name to disguise them....hence, robots in disguise...tadda..i win...
Actually, considering this is Voice Box we're talking about, it's downright amazing that there are only a few small mistakes.
Are you being serious? There were never any goofs? I guess you don't find it weird that in one episode Megatron says he built the constructicons, but in another episode Omega Supreme is guarding a crystal city built by the constructicons and Megatron turns them evil, also in another episode it shows that the constructicons built Megatron. That is just one of the things.
yes, little miss, that was a major amount of sarcasm...i guess i shoulda stated that...but yeah, i know there are tons of goofs...i was just being (read: making fun of)an overhyped g1 fanboy....mistakes happen, its part of it...
Ah good you were kidding , I know mistakes happen but usually when it is a TV show that is not live they can fix it. Like final editing or something. I was also wondering if that was the reason that 6 and 25 are missing from Hasbro's website
Voicebox's work isn't inherently bad. It's just that Armada and Energon's dubs were such crazy rush jobs. Usually, a studio will get at least 6 months grace time (and usually, dubbing doesn't even begin until the series is over). For Armada and Energon? Maybe a month or two at best. Certainly not a lot of time to iron out the kinks.
My biggest complaint with Cybertron, which has been stated by Hasbro to be a CONTINUATION of Energon and Armada: Optimus Prime: Vector Prime! What happened? Leobreaker and I combined! Transformers combination has never happened before! Something along those lines. Guess Prime forgot all about the whole "ENERGON" series, kind of like I did, thank God.
Energon is a repressed memory of Prime's. Come on, if you looked like that and all you team had to bend over and powerlink each other wouldn't you have repressed memories?
Even in Galaxy Force, that's problematic - when Galaxy Convoy and Sonic Bomber (who has been supposedly absent for a long time, and certainly wasn't around when Galaxy Convoy and Ligerjack combined) combine for the first time, everyone suddenly acts as if it was nothing. I mean, sure so Convoy can combine with Ligerjack, and Convoy is like "Whoah! That was AMAZING! Never happened before!". Then, some random guy who has been god-knows-where for the longes time shows up, and Convoy is all like "Hey, let's link up! It worked with Ligerjack, after all!"
hehe...you said "link up" butseriously, if its gonna be a continuation they should fix stuff like that. justaddin ive still got a portion of the combination matrix...or say combining resulted in energon depletion, hence outlawed unless brutally necessary, therefore only prime and few other scan s tilldo it....freakin space bar...i hate it.....
