I'm wanting a Cybertron detective agency for a fan fic and stuck for ideas. So far I've got:

Blurr (like Animated) to quickly gather information.
    Nightbeat, the main detective.
Smokescreen, for undercover missions (just thought it was a good idea).

Anyone got any other ideas or disagree with mine? I would appreciate any comments or help. Thanks.

Oh and I don't know if this is in the right place? If it's not, could a mod move it please

Actually, a Detective agency run exclusively by the dinobots would be hilarious.

I was going to put Prowl in but he's already part of Team Magnaboss. Punch/Counterpunch is a great idea, thanks.

Perceptor or some of the Technobots for CSI or geek work?
Grimlock could definitely be the heavy hitter if things get hairy.

    Huffer for engineering.

I think with TFs you'd have to play up the Tech/SciFi elements for some mysteries. Huffer's personality would also add a lot to the technical crew.

    Field ops? Rapido? Steeljaw? Ramhorn?

If you're stuck for ideas, why not try a different concept?

what about High Beam ? he's a tracker.

Cheetor could be a trainee based on his Animated version ! : D

Maybe Blaster can be the guy who gets info from the underworld ?

or maybe you can add a "mercenary" kinda guild that the agency hires / outsources for some missions ?

All great suggestions, thanks guys. I want the Transformers to represent stereotypical detective types. I'm thinking Nightbeat as a Sherlock Holmes type, complete with a hat and trench coat kibble. Love the idea of Barracade posing as an Autobot, sabotaging them, maybe calling himself Streetwise? Punch would keep things interesting if Barracade finds out about his Decepticon mode but can't sneak away from the Agency to warn Megatron. Blurr is obviously a younger, over-eager trainee, but I could use Cheetor instead. Smokescreen's ability makes him useful for undercover work or for an escape if their cover is blown.
