Well it was a long time but finally the Emergency Response Team is ready to be auctioned off. Red Alert by TTT Nightbeat by CybrMnky Siren by Brr-icy
Inferno by Malwave Minerva by venksta All the decals were made by the one and only AutobotX23 I wanna thank all my peasants for the awesome work they did on this part of the project. You kids did an awesome job and you all should be proud
All of these are freakin' badass. The paint apps on Nightbeat are a bit wonky, but it still looks badass. I especially love the coat!!! And Josh's art came out pure win. Hopefully I'll show up to TFCon next year!!!
Minerva is unable to transform fully. Due to the paint and a possible flaw in the toy. Nemesis Predaking tried to transform her at TFcon and got right to the last step and it wouldnt move anymore. So Minerva is an Actionmaster
if you fiddle with her a little it might be possible to do, it was the feet that were causing the issue i think, but not positive as i had a try too lol
Great work all around, but I do have somewhat of a problem with the paint job on Nightbeat. The chipped/rubbed paint is a shame (no offense to CybrMnky). I just hope it doesn't hurt the auction.
I dont see any issues with the paint. All I see is a customizer who did his first reapaint. This isnt a "Pros" only project, it was for anyone on cybertron.ca. CybrMnky is a very good friend of mine and I think he did an awesome job. Nightbeat is my favorite character in that set. I know the paint wount hurt the auction at all.
They are all.......AWESOME! Great job and the best part was it's going for a good cause. I want to make my own customs version of Minerva, Nightbeat and Inferno.
I'm aware of the fact that charity projects aren't exclusive to professionals. I've seen people of various skill levels and expertise participate in them. And I think it's great that someone decided to participate despite the lack of prior experience. Shows a lot of courage IMO. I applaud the effort that was put into this, especially since this auction isn't for personal gain, but for a great cause. Please don't feel that I'm insulting your friend's ability as a painter. I'm just pointing out some rough areas in the final product.
I understand 100% what you were saying and I didnt take it as an insult We had a talk about the paint at TFcon and CybrMnky said the rough worn paint = Grizzled old detective
