Big ups to TFW modder autobot prowl for posting his awesome modded Cyber Battalion Starscream, since I did not know anything about these cool Cyber Battalion figures before reading his thread. I immediately picked up 3 CB Starscreams to turn into Voyager Seekers for my CHUG display knowing they would all need knee articulation added. However, seeing the parts that autobot prowl used, I knew I couldn't afford to buy several ultra class Powerglides and other figures just for the upper legs and fodder parts. Once I got the figure in hand, I took a look at the construction and decided to just go the easiest and cheapest route possible: good ol' Revoltech joint knees. Worked like a charm, and now CB Starscream has knee articulation, including a swivel at the knee to cover his lack of thigh articulation. Transformation is not hindered in the slightest, and everything still tabs in securely for alt mode. Only thing left is some sanding then a paint job, and BOOM, fodder-less articulated Voyager Seekers! Other plans are to fill in some of the excessive hollow cavities using friction welding and my 3D pen. Once again, shot out to autobot prowl for the inspiration! =)

Nice work, those knees make the difference. He is still hollow in places and it is a shame the stripes don't go all the way, but you could say that about a combiner wars figure too (don't worry Fireflight, you are still cool).

And I'll second the joint location question.

Great work, looks like your mod was a lot less involved than mine and that's a good thing. Great work, I look forward to seeing the trio all painted up!

I think it might be a custom. Those feet look similar to the WFC/FOC Soundwave feet.

Sorry for the late reply to this, but yeah, it's a Mashers Soundwave with the FOC Voyager Soundwave legs. My pseudo SW stand-in until we finally get a legit G1 Voyager SW from someone.

It's okay. Sometimes life just gets in the way. The Soundwave does look pretty cool as a temporary stand-in. I might think about doing that myself.

Did you use apoxy or anything or just cut, dremel and olace the joints?

The process involved dremeling and filling in some of the hollow leg areas with melted styrene and hot glue. It worked out, but I will probably try fixit sculpt whenever I do it again.
