so i have talked to greg about doing the exclusive for Cybcon 2011,and i thought i would get some input on the exclusive.so here's a poll to help me determine the size class. Please pick one size class and one continuity.
Since I chose "Other" for the Universe, I'd like to propose something a bit original: a CybCon Universe of Transformers. I think by doing this, it would free up the option for this custom, but also for future customs. I've never thought that any CybCon custom figure has to "fit" into one particular universe.
I love it.That would be awesome.Maybe even get a comic put together as a an auction item for next year using the Cybcon exclusives that have come so far
I don't really understand the question. Are you doing a custom of the cybcon exclusive or are you in charge of designing the figure that will be the cybcon exclusive? Sorry, I'm not a convention goer. Mathius
just a reminder when voting:vote on 1 size class and 1 continuity.EX:Scout & G1,Legends & Unicron Trilogy.don't vote for 2 continuities or 2 size classes.that does not help at all.
I wound up not choosing a continuity, so I will just post it, I'm pretty biased towards the G1 continuity but any would be good IMO.
well at the rate things are going it looks like we'll be seeing a deluxe for next year's exclusive.though i have ideas for one offs from legends and a scout or 2 to be used as auction fodder.
CybCon Exclusives have had a "universe" of their own for a while, actually. When we have a toy and time for a card/box/whatever, we usually try to do a bio for them. I made one up for this year at the last minute that I'm satisfied with, but one of my favorites was the C-Bot bio from 2005. check out the attachment. With amazing art by Jackpot, that really made the toy desireable, C-bot had to compete with CybCon Jazz by CrazySteve, and a shared con exclusive from Fred'sToyShop. Sometimes we don't have anything. In all cases, what we have is entirely up to the generous and creative people who step up to the plate to get something done. It's cool that GP is asking for feedback, but I do want to clarify a couple things. 1) There is no guarantee that there will BE a CybCon 2011. 2) The best laid plans... you know. Oh yeah, and while the votes here may or may not represent CybCon attendees feelings, remember that you're not getting local results with this poll.
i know there might not be one next year, but i like to look on the positive side of things.plus i have got a few ideas that will be very interesting.
hey greg, after the con could i possibly get a copy of the bio(s) for the exclusives?i would like to load it up to Deviant Art
