so it's come to my attention that people would like some pics of this little guy. and since I'm one of the 25 people in the world that own one, I'm just doing my civic duty. for those that are unfamiliar, here's what I know of it's history, and maybe someone can fill in the blanks. this was given away at the 2004 cybercon, I believe as a raffle/give away. there were 25 bumblebees, as well as 15 slaughterhouses, which were the pyramid shaped cybertronian versions of the seekers, which you can see a drawing of on the side of the box in my gallery. it was created by a person who at the time was well known for custom action masters. I acquired this from ebay about a year and a half ago for $80, which I'm now told was quite a steal. it was a big deal for me to get this because bumblebee was my first transformer back in the day. here's one teaser pic, and the rest can be seen here.
I would love to own this piece. I love that Alt mode. But sadly the last one seen on ebay sold for over $400.00.
KA-yeah, the pics aren't really flattering. I realized this as I was taking them, because I wanted them to be as realistic as possible, and to show both the flaws and the good parts. you can tell where certain parts were carved and everything, but I think that just adds to the charm of it being hand-made. Lio-yeah, but didn't that one ALSO come with slaughterhouse? there were 10 less of those made, so I'm inclined to think slaughterhouse is worth more.
Werent those for Cybcon instead of Cybercon? either way, both figures were made by crazysteve http://geocities.com/starsaber/cybmodes/cybmodes.html
I get this message when I click on the link: But it's okay now, I found this: http://www.ggaub.com/tf/cybcon/bumblebee/main.html
