I was going to point out that the TRU's in Richmond, VA just started getting the BWX leaders in this week as well.

Damn, I may have to ebay some of these figures. Still need Cryo Scourge, Smokey, and I want a yellow Scrapmetal.

 

Meanwhile, my local Wal-Mart has had the same two deluxes for almost a month now and refuses to restock... Le sigh.....

Huh, I didn't realize the beasts got a repaint for the repackaging. Probably a good thing, since Primal's crown looked like ASS.

Smokescreen is pure hotness. He'll probably be my last purchase for Cybertron.

This may be one of those "I havn't bought anything in months but I feel like getting something to hold me over" buys. But to get either primal or megs...hmmmm..

 

So in the 10th Anniversary Beast Wars line, Megs was $15 with the mini Axalon. But in Cybertron, it's repainted and only costs $10. Anybody wanna explain that? I'm buying it but it just doesn't make any sense that the same toy repainted might actually be on the same shelf for $5 less.

 

The DVD, comic book, and Spaceship included all drove the price higher before.

 

Looks like all that is left are the 2 basics. I should have a good chance at the basic and deluxe, and a reasonable chance at the voyager but my Wal-Mart has not had a new Ultra since Red Alert. They still have 3 Scourge, 2 Jetfire, and 2 Dark Scorponok. Looks like I need to hit the road again, something I do almost every week anyway but living in a small town surrounded by small towns sucks for distribution even though I eventually run into all but 1 or 2 main line figure(Ultra Magnus) on my 6 or 7 town trips (1 a week).

The basics with DVD's were released at Wal-Mart last month. All that remains are the 2 repaint basics, the leader promo packs, and Primus promo pack.

The BWX leaders do not have DVD's, just the ship and comic. It would be more justified had the ships been die-cast.

 

I found both Beast Wars leaders at Target in Plano nearly two months ago.
I snagged them as soon as I saw them and was about to think that I might never see them again.

However, just this week in my quest for Titanium Jetfire I have seen them at three different stores. You guys keep looking.
The Megatron rulz0rz in both modes and Primal would be perfect as well if not for all the grey in his beast mode. The robot mode is worth the price for it, though -even without the swords.

 

I could have got some today but I went to Visalia instead.

Can't wait to pick these up. I've only got 11 purchases left in Cybertron. Guess my hopes of a Perceptor CD-Red Alert repaint are just a pipe dream.

 

Now to start hunting for Smokescreen.

 

I'll have to be on the lookout for the beasties. I still haven't seen the 10th anniversary versions anywhere.
