Been wanting to make an updated version of the RID Autobot brothers for some time, but I just couldn't find the right fodder... until now.

    First up: Prowl/Mach Alert
    Used CW Breakdown.
Modded chest, replaced head, added police lights, modded front end to detach and fit onto weapon,
got the lasers for combiner weapon from G1 Metroplex, and added rockets to tailfins. Everything else was basically repainting.

    Extra notes:
If you need police lights for a figure, the cut off portion of Breakdown's chest would work quite well.
I was fortunate that the blue on Breakdown was the same color as Prowl's blue. No need to paint over. Total WIN on that level.

    Part 2: X-Brawn/ Wild Ride
Used CW First Aid. Replaced head, modded front end to become detachable, added front bumper and hole to fit hand weapon, added handle to hold front end and recreate "southpaw Punch".
added small odds-n-ends to give him the look of the original figure.

    Extra notes:
The lower legs were the hardest to paint. My initial green coat was splotchy and went over parts that I didn't want covered.. Had to sand off and redo it.
The handle inside the front end was a pain to get attached. It kept breaking off. Fortunately, the Upteenth attempt worked.:p
Favorite part of the figure was the green lacquer on the back end. really made a difference in the figure.
Also the first time I used Auto pin striping on a figure. Did a pretty neat job.

    Third, but not least, Sideburn/Speedbreaker
Please note: I don't have his stickers done, so the lack of flames wasn't a personal choice, but due to time and/or laziness.

    Extra notes:
The combiner gun hasn't been painted here. I have since then fixed that problem.
I really wished that the junker Sideburn I used had the front end with him. I really would have liked using it for the front end.
Added a lego post to the windshield in order to fit onto his shoulder. Made him look more like his original figure.
Thought of adding his original windshield to the new figure, but it would have affected transformation.

Very creative: love how you re-created X-Brawn's x-tra large arm!

Finally another basher giving the Autobot brothers some love. For the longest time I felt like the only one to create updates for them.

Great minds think alike too, cause I wanted to do almost this exact thing myself. The molds you chose are spot on to my idea too. But I just couldn't bring myself to do it cause I already bashed the brothers using Prime molds and I have a fairly strict "one bash per character" limit.

Also saw your CW RID Prime. For your final combiner limb, might I suggest Ultra Magnus. You could use the Rook mold: robot mode resembles RID Ultra Magnus and vehicle mode resembles Animated Ultra Magnus.

I thought of using CW Ultra Magnus for the RID version, but finding one was too hard and expensive for me. I would'very had the appendages separate and form onto Prime.

Now you need POTP Inferno for Prime. Add one more figure and you have an additional combiner to go with the Landfill and Rail Racer combiners! Awesome job on these!
