I'm a big fan of Toyhax/Reprolabels, their sets often push an 'almost' TF over the finishing line to 'Great' and the Mirage set is no exception but sometimes, as here, I have minor aesthetic differences with their design choices.
I did want a more G1-ish look but I did not want to sacrifice the original paint apps plus there were the odd detail I felt were still missing (black detailing at his shoulders and, more obviously, his missing 'pants') so with a dash of paint and some slicing and dicing of the Toyhax CW Mirage set, I ended up with THIS:

thats pretty much how i used to customize my guys. right now i have a bunch of stock hasbro guys on my shelf, including the stunticons minus motormaster. not sure when i'm going to complete that team
