Over the weekend two online shops in Slovakia opened listings for CW Devastator. Both have the toy available. Considering the prices tend to be close to double US retail, the Alza store is offering him for an excellent price.

I have ordered one, waiting for a text message confirming I can do the local pickup (the store is 10 minutes away by foot from my office).

Could this be the sign that CW Devi is finally hitting Europe, with retail stores following shortly?

    Alza.sk price: 155,56 EUR

    Mall.sk price: 181 EUR

I will provide a photo/receipt once I have the toy in hand.

For that price, you might as well get the Takara version.

With the 80 EUR additional shipping charge (maybe more, hardly less) and +20% import tax on the toy value and +20% import tax on the shipping costs paid and +4,50 EUR processing fee for the customs office... nope. The Takara version would be much more expensive.

I'm guessing that in the UK we'll be paying £150 for the Hasbro version - if we do get it at all.

    Ebay:
Not with the recent rise of the USD's value...
    1 EUR=314 HUF (Hungarian Forint)
    1 USD=294 HUF

I never saw Devs on Ebay for less than 145-155$, add at least 55$ or more shipping, the sadly unavoidable "Ebay customs" fees of 45-50$... nope, even the Hasbro version is cheaper this way.

International packaging, see my thread about it: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...163-combiner-wars-devastator-out-hungary.html
I am sure it's only a matter of time before he is out in the rest of Europe too.

Well, so much for "next day delivery/pickup".

Took a week but I got the toy, finally. Multilingual packaging English / French / German / Spanish.

The instructions feature the usual "one-sentence translation" for various lands: GB, , D, E, P, I , NL, S, DK, N, FIN, GR, PL, H, TR, CZ, SK, RO, RU, BG, HR, LT, SLO, UKR, AR.
