“ Hey, come back! You didn't finish your nickel-plated knuckle sandwich! ”—Brawn, Attack of the Autobots

So when I got my BC Prime limbs it was Wheeljack, Smokescreen, Trailbreaker and Hound, all of whom I found used from a local shop. They had their hand/feet and weapons, But Hound had a little issue with his head coming apart when ever he got bumped. While I could have used some super glue to fix this I had all ready seen a different option on Shapeways to expand my troops in the form of Brawn.

While looking at pictures of Brawn I found this one that was listed as an unreleased OTFCC Brawn.

I used this as kind of a guide for how to repaint Hound into Brawn. He has three colors (Grey, Green and a Yellow) as his primary. But this model has lots of little bits of mesh, pipes, grating all just waiting for a high light.
I had toyed with the idea of making a foe/fifth wheel to place on his roof to give him more of a G1 look. But with the lock down happening as soon as I started this it was out of the question because Michaels is not essential. Oh well. I also did spread that grey out using two tones, one silver the other gun metal which you can see on the legs, arms and face.
The face and gun you can get for your selves from Shapeways in the link below. It also includes some bits for WFC Hound. Because I thought they might also work and if they didn't I have replaced CW Hound with the WFC version of him.

This is awesome! Why didn't hasbro make this to start with! Brawn is way more suited to this mold than hound.

Thanks, it was fun to work on.

They may have looked at him and thought a deluxe sized figure was to big for a character that had traditionally been a scout. Thus we got both Brawn and Outback as legend class figures.

Wow that looks good! The molds beefy proportions work really well for Brawn
