Scales are based on a replicas size in relation to its real world counterpart. This tutorial is not meant to be taken as an exact guide to what anyone can or should build; it is only meant to give a rough outline on scale in relation to main line figures. My hope for this body of work is to offer a helpful frame of reference for most customizers looking to work with model kits in creating new Transformers figures.

1/25 Scale Full-size Truck and 1/24 Scale Compact Truck

Seen here is a 1/25 scale Cadillac Escalade EXT in relation to the 1/24 Alternators Prime. They are a near exact size for a direct re-shell. Also seen is a 1/24 Toyota Hilux in relation to ‘07 movie Ratchet. Both these figures would work nicely. Hell, even the ‘07 movie Blackout could work within the Escalade. Other images include a size comparison between the 1/24 scale Alt Sunstreaker and a Masterpiece Skywarp.

The Skids mold is pretty much a direct re-shell, as all the excess roof panels are a kibble fest on this figure and could be removed without compromising the robot mode. The Alt Rumble may be a bit tight and the Masterpiece Hot Rod is a no go due to the robots legs being overly wide. This does not mean it cannot be worked around, as you could either build a flat deck to cover the legs (Kup) or even a tow truck assembly (Hoist).
