They have, this is the company that makes those non transformable revoltech type figures.

Wow, I did not expect to see the Fuso Brothers to receive Revoltech treatment. Definitely gonna pick Inferno!

They made the ladder and crane arm surprisingly big for figures that don't transform.

Custom Robots makes highly detailed, non-transformable, scale-agnostic, highly posable 4" figures (if you don't like non-transforming bots, these aren't meant for you). They've already done more than a dozen G1 figures. They run between $35-50 usd depending on where you buy them, and they fit perfectly with the five original official revoltech transformers. I have them all, excluding the diaclone repaints that don't really interest me.

I ordered the three Datsun brothers from taobao, but they haven't been released yet, so my order is in foreign website limbo. I keep telling myself to patient, but it's tough because these are awesome. CR does a spectacular job. I'm not surprised that they're doing Inferno/Grapple because reuse, but I'll admit, they aren't among my favorite characters. I'll still get them, but I haven't forgotten for the Magnus they showed over a year ago, and the long-standing rumors of a new Prime and Megatron. Those need to get some love before making all the second-tier S2 characters! ;)

Dammit. I’ve been waiting for a good voyager scale Inferno for my wreckers display, and this is gorgeous, and would definitely fit with the overall IDW aesthetic… but it’s just too small.

Just pre-ordered Inferno / Grapple from Custom Robots on Taobao. Listing says they will ship in about a month. I'm loving that CR is keeping the pedal down, releasing these at a pretty good pace! I just got the Datsuns three days ago...

Well, since mine are still in the preorder phase @ taobao, I don't have them in-hand. I suspect that if you have several CR figures, you know what to expect. This will be more of the same, and that's typically a good thing. For people that don't like previous releases, I suspect they won't like these either.

Neither Grapple nor Inferno are really favorites of mine. But I swore up and down that I'd buy any G1 '84-86 character CR made, and I'm sticking with that. Bring on more!

I'm hoping your rumor of Trailbreaker/Hoist being next is true. That would leave us only a Jazz and Mirage away from completing the Ark crew, sans minibots.
