Hey everyone, Ever since I saw the first pics of Camshaft online, I knew I could put my leftover BT blue Prowl parts to good use. Well, I received Camshaft yesterday, and I decided to swap some parts. Nothing complicated, just enough to add some blue to the whole thing. Incidentally, it's a good thing I'm not using Camshaft's hood or spoiler. The hood had the bump at the top like previously mentioned, and the spoiler had some white stretch lines on it. here are some pics:
I like the way it makes the bot mode look, but I agree with MW that the car mode looks off. I know it's the same colors as Diaclone Bluestreak, but reversed. They don't go as good together that way.
I like it. The bot mode shines with those upgrades! Car mode is nice, but the bot mode is better. You gonna do the Lambo doors, too?

That looks simply amazing! thanks for the ideas! I can't do spraypaint in my appartment, but I've painted my share of Gundam kits with tamya acylic, all I need is some metallic blue paint. I've never actually used any form of clear finish for protection and gloss. What do you guys recommend? I was thinking of painting a small decepticon logo on the upper corner of the hood (in grey or yellow) and make Camshaft a con! I could also get stickers from reprolabels and put the decepticon logo on his upper arms, just below the blue paint app.
Update: I finally painted the skirt all around Camshaft. Still no side stripe, but I'm still unsure what type I'll do, if any. I used nail gloss on top of the paint for the shiny-ish finish I also added BT Prowl's front grill, for the type r logo
Great work on this, man! The blue is very distinctive. Also, I've gotta admit - Zailand's idea is kinda neat.
