    Also, so is naming your pets/kids/etc because those would all be done with the intent of naming them after transformers. Err, I guess one could argue that so is marrying this woman & taking her name, but I'm still curious to know how this story ends.

    Guys, I just found out today that Magnus is a real name. ....totally naming my kid Magnus (er... if I ever have a kid.)

    I am from Brazil and the other day watching a brazilian news program I saw a woman whose last name was MEISTER, is the japanese name for Jazz!

    I think it was incredibly stupid to post the woman's full name, being that you work at a collection agency. what irks me is that you'd probably do the same thing at an AIDS clinic. or is passing along financial statuses of people ok, but health info is where you draw the line? and you're a supervisor?

    Okay, not really. But I do live in Montreal. I might have known her... so yeah, posting her full name on the internet and the business context, is NOT a good idea. :redface2: 

    Really? What cultural background does that come from? I've NEVER heard that name outside of Transformers.

    I guess that's not so surprising. There are a lot of German names in Brazil.

    Of course, then there was my best friend in elementary school, Jimmy Starscream. I think it's Latvian or something. ;)

    If you go by the Malaysian dub of the Japanese G1 series, there's lots of people with TF names. "Phillip", "Marshall", "Wally" (sorry, I couldn't resist)

    Magnus is a kickass name for a kid. We almost gave it to my baby brother. Wish it were my name.

    well, in a tv program that airs here in Chile, there's a girl with Primus as surname, and I think there were many transformers names since before transformers existed :p

    I couldnt say.I asked them if they knew they shared a name with a TF, one said yes, the other was much older and said it was his grandfathers name.

    Who would do that? It must have cost that guy a fortune to change it to that. I as Transformers: Animated BumbleBee would put it "I love my name."
