Hi guys. This is another commission job that I have done for a commissioner. He has a Voyager Iron Hide from the original Movie and he wanted me to custom it for him so it will look like the movie counter part. So he wanted to have this glossy pick up finish and a paint chip beat up look when Iron Hide transformed. So I took up the job and custom this Iron Hide to what we have discuss and he is trill by the completed look. It always brings a smile to my face when the commissioner hold this custom Iron Hide in his hands and smiling like a kid in a candy store. And I'm glad he like it so much. Currently he have other Custom TFs jobs line up for me after the public holidays. So in the mean time I'm able to take a small break and are working on a non TFs custom. Which is this custom you may ask, I shall post it up soon once I finish painting it LOLZ :D

So there are some changes I did. I have replace the original guns on both arms and added custom metal and aluminum parts on them. So the guns have their original plastic gun pods replaces with Aluminum barrels to make it look realistic. Another thing is the missle launcher, I have fill up the holes on both side and scratch built addition parts and out fit them with metal barrels to.

On the Pick up mode, I choose to go for a more realistic look. I have added autobot logo and stick it using car stickers where we use to stick premium car coupons for our registered parking slot. So from the outside it looks real. I have also added some small car decals on the back to make it looks cool. The smoke stacks was black and was ask to keep it that way. But I did add some paint chips on the stacks and wheel rims and front bumber. And He likes it that way. And finally I give it a few coats of Gaia Super Gloss and polish it till it shine. Hope everyone like that custom. (P.S Pls don't mind the small dust, As I have wear cloth glove while handing it and black traps dust... Silly me, I will use rubber gloves next time LOLZ )

I really like the subtlety of the paint scuffs in alt mode. I think that really brings this piece together well. Great work :thumb
