I'd suggest thinning your paints as the look is kinda gloppy and undefined on the pieces. But the idea and most of the execution is rad and solid af.

Very impressive work, GeekGirl! I like the inventive use of Combiner Wars figures for these (amongst others) and the sheer amount of effort you both out into this!

Funny! I've been watching these listings on eBay for a while and now the creator is showing them off. Pretty cool! Can you confirm they're legit in case someone is trying to profit off your work?

A lot of greatness going on here. Some perfect mold choices plus the added Combiner, with the Bases as the cherry on top. Excellent!

thanks for all the nice comments everyone. I know I need more practice on painting lol. For most pieces I just used bonding to plastic spray paint. that makes life way easier lol

For the paints, I am still new to painting figures myself but I find that a base coat spray paint of white, gray, or black...then paint with testors model paint holds the colors a little more vibrantly. Then the clear coat...semi gloss so its not overtly shiny. Love the guardian torso...I had been mulling the idea of making a set of Go Bot combiners for a while but was stuck on how to do the torso...I was leaning towards a repaint Motormaster as Staks...but I really love the power suit look. Thanks for sharing.
